We started with a belief in the transformational power of fitness. The partners shared a dream of creating a facility that could be home to the fitness community they have cultivated and a welcoming space for effective functional fitness. With a growing roster of in-house trainers offering small group training and personal training alongside 8+ independent trainers, Northwest Fitness Project is the embodiment of that dream.
We have a variety of in-gym small group training classes as well as maintaining a 3 day a week virtual classes hosted via Zoom. Our most up to date schedule for LIVE classes can be found on our Schedule page or through our app for iPhone or Android. You'll receive 20% off + free shipping for orders over $250 (they've got some great other items including mats, boxes, medicine balls and more).
NW Fitness Project has a unique mix of personal trainers at the top of their field in Seattle. We have 6 in-house trainers who coach our small group training classes and are also available for 1:1 as well. Our extended family of trainers at NWFP operate their businesses independently which means greater flexibility for you to work with the trainer that suits your needs with schedule, expertise and frequency.
We sweat together. We push each other. We cheer each other on. Whether you train in group or one-on-one, you are a part of this community. High fives are mandatory. Woos are optional. In group training, you're accountable to the group. In individual coaching, your trainer is there for you no matter what.- and someone else probably noticed you crushing it today.

I signed up for their group sessions for 2 months and I love it! If you’re a less motivated lazy butt like me (but wish for some changes), this is the right place. They make work out fun, rewarding, and versatile with a wide range of carefully-designed training sets. Everyone has been respectful and thoughtful catering to my level. Kyle has been extremely inspiring with his jokes, and I could always push to my limit just by hearing them 😂 I’ve definitely made some progress and I’m just pausing for some ski trips this season. Will come back!

This is an awesome gym with an excellent set of trainers (Matt, Kyle and others). The group classes are incredibly well designed and change every day to keep things interesting (the Wednesday classes are truly challenging and fun). They have fun classes for holidays (including their popular Christmas themed group workout). The trainers truly care about your well-being and progress. I highly recommend NW Fitness Project to everyone.

I’ve been working out at NWFP for about a month and couldn’t be having a better experience. I’ve taken classes with both Kyle and Jonny and am always impressed with the enthusiasm, creative programming, and individual attention they bring to every session. I don’t know that I’ve done the same exercise twice since I began - these are some truly creative and challenging workouts! I also love that they keep class sizes small (<10 people) so you have the physical space and personal coaching to have a great workout every time. Super amped that I found NWFP - highly recommend to folks at all

Working out at NW Fitness Project is consistently a good time that leaves me wanting to work out more. Kyle and Nora are kind, caring coaches who help you improve every movement while they also create a community of positivity for folks at all skill levels. I love my time here.

I love coming to NW fitness project. They are open to all levels and the attitude of the trainers is open, encouraging with a huge dose of humor. I followed Kyle Davis here from other fitness organizations because his energy is so positive and have liked everyone I’ve met. Great place to get started or be challenged to do big things!!

It's one of the only 2 gyms that I looked forward to going to my entire life. I started with some class packs in 2019, did some personal training and now I'm a member. I've gotten stronger during this time.
The space is well equipped and clean. I appreciate that they follow the mask and vaccination mandates. During covid, this gym has been a big part of my social life.
Love the trainers! I have a pinched nerve and bad lower back. They do a great job of coaching me through my workouts and making sure I'm working with weights that are within my limits.
The workouts are always fun. Kyle

I have been going to NWFP since 2017. The trainers are wonderful and have coached me through two pregnancies, a car accident, and remotely during COVID - not to mention keeping me in shape for ski season. Their ability to adapt to their customers’ needs is a testament to their skill. The community and culture (inclusive of gym-themed dad jokes) keeps me accountable and laughing every morning.

The gym is cool with a lot of equipment however the group class I attended was really boring. It's just a basic circuit training. Kyle, the coach who was in charge of the class was a poor teacher. He was unable to teach, correct people's gesture or posture. Encouraging people is something...teaching is another thing ! They are entertainers not trainers. I'm not even surprised, to get a personal training certification in the US just takes a couple of months online. However, If you're an athlete with experience and can workout by yourself, I'd recommand doing open gym.

This is easily the best gym I've been a member of and I can't recommend it enough.
The community atmosphere here is incredible. I always feel motivated and supported by both the coaches and fellow students.
The coaches are all very knowledgeable and help you get your form just right. They also encourage you to push yourself (which I really need!). At the end of each workout I fell drained but then feel amazing for the rest of the day!
I have found the style of class/training extremely effective. In 2 months of going 2-3 times per week I feel I've made more progress than I had on other programs
