Growing up I was a fit and healthy kid. I ran track every spring and enjoyed snowboarding during the winter. When I first moved to Minnesota to go to college, staying fit wasn't one of my priorities. I wanted more energy and a life that better represented who I felt I could be. After struggling to maintain a healthy lifestyle, my weight fluctuated over the next 5 years.
Together we will find practical steps toward eating better, being more active and finding time for fitness in your busy lifestyle. Pilates is a full-body workout meant to strengthen the whole body, small and large muscles alike, as well as improve flexibility and mobility throughout the body. We teach mat Pilates, a low impact workout, which can be done with just your own body weight or with props such as a small ball or theraband.
I've been doing private pilates lessons with Kaethe (Urban Fitness instructor) for about 10 months. It's made a huge difference in my life by releasing body tension and the stress that comes with it. I didn't realize how much tension I held in my body until working with Kaethe. She has an incredible eye.

Incredible knowledge and a very supportive staff. They have been able to work around some serious injuries while letting me actually work out and feel great about myself again. My bad back and neck issues are no longer limiting my activities and I'm able to not only play with my son but also have been able to get back into activities I used to love. Thank you.

I've been doing private pilates lessons with Kaethe (Urban Fitness instructor) for about 10 months. It's made a huge difference in my life by releasing body tension and the stress that comes with it. I didn't realize how much tension I held in my body until working with Kaethe. She has an incredible eye. She's great at identifying where you are tensing and guiding you to relax and perform the exercise with proper technique. If you're considering pilates, I'd recommend trying with Kaethe.

My personal trainer is offering me everything I wanted to achieve from a physical training program. Increased postoperative muscle strength in arms and legs which allows me to stair climb, which I was not able to do post operatively for 4 months, I have improved balance and stamina.

Always a good experience.
I am taller! By strengthening my core, I have been able to adjust my sitting and standing posture so I am standing taller. I am also able to breathe better as I don't hunch over as much as I used to. I no longer get a sore back during the day. I have a program that works well for me! Happy, enthusiastic and knowledgeable trainers.
