Stand up paddle boarding and rowing are an excellent way to sculpt your body, strengthen your core, improve your balance and increase your overall wellbeing. PaddleSculpt owner Dori Johnson's passion for both sports has compelled her to bring SUP and rowing to others on an individual, group, and family level.

Both are low impact sports that strengthens the core and tones every muscle. Expand your boundaries and see if you'll enjoy both the leisure and fitness benefits of both. Release your routine by taking a lesson, paddle fitness or indoor rowing class and enjoy! Below is an overview of each sport. Stand Up Paddle Boarding (or SUP) is an emerging global sport whose roots run deep in Hawaiian history.
Services
45 minute class with 10 minute warmup, 25-35 minute full body workout. Class structure can be expected to be constantly varied with movement using dumbbells, kettle bells, sandbells, jump ropes, conditioning ropes and bodyweight exercises. Challenging sweaty fun. All levels of fitness encouraged! Running and walking stairs builds aerobic endurance, glute, hip and quad strength.

Dori was lovely for a recent sculpt class I tried there. Nice big space h ample instruction. You can tell her class is full of regulars who love attending.

I'll admit that my rating is biased since this is the gym I use, but I think it's warranted. If you want a big box gym then this isn't the place. If you want a place where the vibe is chill and the community is welcoming then here you go. Owner and main trainer Dori is one of the friendliest person (persons?) you will meet. She's very motivating and encouraging. In the summer some of the classes take place on Lake Nokomis (paddle boarding). Super cool gym.
