Trainer Bob
I believe training begins with education and prevention (of injuries, disease and overall health deterioration). Incorporating a basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and nutrition with training promotes responsibility and adherence to one's exercise program.

I value staying up on the current research so as to fight a lot of the fitness "quackery" present in the field today, as well as to provide my clients with the best possible information whether they are beginning weight trainers or seasoned athletes.1. Do you have trouble committing to exercising three to four times a week?

I have been focused on personal fitness my entire life. My interest in learning more about the body, how it works and is meant to move, came from the love of my hobby of being active. I have run numerous triathlons including a half ironman, completed six marathons, was a Boston Marathon qualifier, and competed in many adventure races.
I recommend Bob as a trainer because of the comprehensive knowledge that I gained during my training with him. Bob looks at physical fitness as a way of life versus a short-term project or goal. For years, I was working out; I was not losing any weight or toning my muscles. After hiring Bob, which has encompassed several years, my best friend George and I trained and successfully completed our first marathon.
Finding motivation to train or stick with exercise on a regular basis isn't always easy. Demanding schedules, burn-out, and illness are just a few of the things that may interrupt your fitness routine. However, sometimes motivation can be found by following a very simple formula. Goal setting based upon the S.M.A.R.T. approach, is a simple technique that provides structure for your training program.
Most people know to be prepared to fight weight gain in the winter, when the holidays and decreased activity can lead to a few extra pounds. But summer -- with its backyard barbecues, s'mores around the campfire, and yummy ice cream treats -- can also be a diet-sabotaging season if you're not careful.
The increased presence of treadmills has led some to abandon outside running for the convenience and consistency of these fitness machines. You might not expect that there would be much difference between the two types of running, but each has unique characteristics.

From questions of wind resistance and predictable terrain to maintaining proper form, knowing the advantages and disadvantages of each type of running helps you get the most from your workout.WIND RESISTANCE AND TERRAIN - Running indoors on a treadmill removes the drag of wind resistance on your body.

Bob Zunino is the best personal trainer. He knows exactly what he is doing. I trained with him for the Boston Marathon. I wanted this to be my best race and it was!! I have ran 8 marathons over the last 10 years and again this was the best.
Bob gave me a training plan and I followed it exactly, week by week. We did weight lifting sessions together every other week. My excercises or the amount of weight I was lifting changed as my body acclimated. Bob instructed me on correct form and never faltered.
At the end of my race in Boston, I still felt really strong cause of this training plan

I love my personal trainer! I have been training with him for about 8 years now and through two babies. About 6 years ago I completed my first triathlon....something I NEVER thought I'd be able to do. I was afraid of the swimming and not sure I could do the run at the end. But Bob was so motivating and went to the tri-site with me for a practice swim a couple of weeks before the event so that I wouldn't freak out at the open water swim. He challenges me at every workout but has a talent for pushing just the right amount to get results. I believe he trains in San Leandro a couple
