I love being apart of the Gateway Oaks community. The apartment is really nice and quiet. The people in the office are super nice and easy to work with. I've lived in several apartment complexes across the MetroPlex and these are top of the line in comparison. There is a bunch of storage space, a walk in closet and even a pantry. You have 24 hour access to they gym and they are pet friendly. Everything anyone could ask for in an apartment.

The staff at Gateway Oaks (Kimberly the Community Manager and staff) are friendly and professional in every aspect of the showing and leasing process. The apartments are well maintained and the security is top notch making everyone safe while living here. The amenities are the best available in Forney and the pricing is on par with the other apartments in the area. I highly recommend the Gateway Oaks for anyone looking for a new place to live in the Forney area!

Assess your options before moving here. Office staff is unfriendly, trash is constantly over flowing, parking situation is abysmal, unlit back parking is subject to theft and auto break ins which has occurred to me resulting in police report. Spend a little more and choose to live some where else.

Honestly, so far not good at all. It’s our move in day and we haven’t been able to even view our apartment and we signed this lease 2 months ago. We go to get our keys and everything settled and they tell us that we should still be able to move in today. The maintenance people and maids haven’t been there to fix the carpet and clean. They have 2 whole months and our move in day may be delayed.

I have lived here for four years and love my apt and pool side view. Recently, the storm that came thru in February caused flooding in apt. The local fire department confirmed that it was an external issue, and cause of the flooding from busted pipes, EXTERNALLY. My young daughter and I were unable to inhabit apartment, and weren't even offered alternate arrangements. When I spoke with management (on the local and corporate level) and explained that to Valiant Residential Co., they told me there was no way of prorating my upcoming rent for the 2 weeks and 2 days that I was unable to live there

I’ve been here almost 2 years & I have never had a single issue that didn’t get handled right away. This is honestly the best place I’ve ever lived. The staff is amazing, everything is always so organized & clean. My apartment is beautiful... the way it is designed makes it feel so cozy. I’m so happy here. The property is always so nice and clean. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. Parking can be a bit rough/frustrating sometimes but.. I got a garage and so, that resolved that. I highly recommend these apartments.

UPDATE:. They did finally overnight a check to me with FedEx. I hate that it comes down to having to be rude to get something done. I don't know why it is so hard for people to understand that when you make a mistake, just own it and apologize and say you will get it taking care of immediately and then follow through!!!!. FYI...that would go a long way in your ratings. Train your office staff in customer service skills!!!!! It's not hard.

Beautiful apartments 😍 ❤ I have never lived in an apartment. and beer thought I would like to. the staff are so kind and helpful. all of the tenants are pleasant and it truly is a tight knit community. everybody is always willing to lend a hand. i lived in small Paris Tx 50 years. I was ready to venture out. I am so glad that I found Gateway Oaks Apartments! they have surpassed my expectations! give Karla a call and come be my neighbor!

Horrible place to live. Very dirty unmanaged and not worth what you pay. Paint spots where they started to retouch has been unfinished for over 3 months now. Furniture left in the hallway for over a week from tenants either moving in or out. Which is a complete hazard coming from 2nd floor to first floor in bldg 3. I do not recommend this place at all. Do not let the landscaping fool you. This property has gone to the slums and not worth the rent you pay. I highly recommend that you consider else where. Parking is horrible, doors are prompted open which defeats using a security fob for safety purposes

We was excited and to move here and end up being Horrible Place to live, we paid our rent 99% of the time early and may have only paid on the 1st once or twice during the year and one half stay. When addressing issues Management is Extremely bad in customer service and communication. Insects all over the place. Had to move because they wouldn't assist in pest control...Crockett's everywhere. When we moved got billed for pet stains in which we "NEVER NEVER EVER HAD ANY PETS" period. Manager argued with us that we had pets...but later to find out AFTER WE PROVIDED DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT the previous
