Raise the Bar Fitness is a private personal training studio located in the Sunset District of San Francisco. Our versatile trainers have extensive backgrounds, ranging from strength barbell training to aerobic kickboxing. Whether you're looking to gain strength and mass, lose stubborn fat, train for a sport or just get in better shape, we have the perfect trainer to help you reach your fitness goals.

I started with Raise the Bar on Judah St. years ago and still continue to go back after any hiatus I've had to take. Each time I go back the gym has improved time and time again. At Raise the Bar Fitness, we believe in being as transparent as possible with our pricing. Below is a summary of our prices.
Services
Dr. Fong is a holistic Chiropractor and adjusts the spine as well as extremities. The methods used by Dr. Fong are very gentle, and she encourages an environment of open communication so that treatment is effective and always within her patient's comfort zone. She is different from the typical Chiropractor in that in addition to addressing misalignments, she also optimizes your body's performance by addressing stability and muscle function.
With the expertise of our personal trainers, you are on a great path to accomplishing your fitness goals and maximizing your results. During your supervised training sessions, every effort will be made to help you train as safely as possible. However, as with any exercise program, there are risks including increased heart stress and the chance of musculoskeletal injuries.

Great for personal training. Small, boutique style, most people are only in there during personal training sessions. Irene is great, she does person training and works on nutrition.

Great gym. Good trainers. Clean facility. Boxing classes with Eric is the best. Cycling classes have an awesome sound system.

The trainers at this gym are the best in the city and surrounding area. I've trained at several gyms and what stands out to me is the kind of personal attention and dedication that the clients receive. Each trainer is solely focused on helping their client attain the healthiest body and mind possible with a personalized regime, tailored to fit the exact needs and situation for the client. I started training at first with Jason Gor, one of the owners, and he is the one who truly inspired me and helped me keep coming back, instilling both confidence and strength into my mental and physical health
