Last year they repaired my 02 car so it would pass smog after another shop couldn’t figure out the problem. Fast forward to last week when the engine light came on. Turns out that a part they installed a thousand plus miles ago failed. They fixed it for no charge (parts and labor). Color me impressed!

First time customer
I was taking my family on our first (Post COVID) mini vacation… I had a few issues with my truck and wanted them addressed.
I called Nick at La Mesa Automotive and explain my situation, he told me to bring it in first thing in the morning. My first impression of the establishment was very clean and organized. And before I could leave the parking lot Nick already had it in a work bay.
Shortly after that I was notified by Nick of a couple other safety concerns and me traveling in it’s current state. I agreed to correct his concerns and he assured me that my trip was still

I took my car to La Mesa Automotive N Alignment after I purchased new set of tires for a 2007 Yaris w/ over 150, 000 miles on it.
After the alignment was done, I noticed that the emergency brake was a little tighter than before. It was adjusted without me asking for it.
I was going to take the car to a trusted mechanic, who's going to retire in a few months. What they did got me thinking, that I could trust this LAnA service place, so I had them do the maintenance instead. Nick got my trust, and he's just round the corner. What a find!

I will never bring my vehicles anywhere but to Wayne and his crew at la mess automotive. I was immediately put at ease with their knowledge and communication on what was needed to be done right away to make the truck safe and dependable and what could wait a while to be taken care of. The truck has never run better and I WILL defenitely be back with some of my other vehicles. Just call or go in and give them a chance to show you what true customer service should look like.

Last year Wayne Madsen and his team of experts helped me to get my pick-up truck road worthy so I could take a veteran that was homeless in El Cajon for 17 years back to his family in Texas. They did a wonderful job and I drove to Texas and back without a worry. They fixed a window from a Marine that ended his time of service and went back to New York. While waiting to ship car , it was broken into. Wayne stepped up and had the window fixed and then stored the vehicle till the transporters could pick it up They have been one of the biggest backers in Operation: Military Family thru their recycle
