I got the Smokehouse burger and it was delicious. They gave us a bottle of bbq sauce which i drizzled on my burger... yum. I was craving it the next night. My hubby got the bbq nachos, which could have been a little meatier, but overall good. Kids loved their burgers as well. Cute little place with great food.

Just okay. Girl at the counter was friendly, but the food was very slow to come out and was subpar at best. I also don't believe what I ate was catfish, it had a much different flavor from any catfish I have ever had before.

Was looking at the hot air balloons doing their glow in downtown Durango. Stumbled across this restaurant and he wanted to get a drink so we headed in. He'd also not had a lot to eat so we looked at the menu and decided to share a po'boy. However, when we got up to the order counter (we were third in line), we were told that the kitchen wasn't making food for 15 minutes. So we ordered our drinks and then started to place a good order.
They weren't even taking food orders. You had to come back in 15 minutes to do that. This I thought was ridiculous as we had waited in line and

SLOWEST SERVICE!!!! FOR A BBQ place? Food is pre-smoked! There was 1 other couple in there and 1 to-go order. Took 35 minutes to get our food. It was not busy at all. Ordered 1/4 Chicken Platter which comes with 1 side...1 side only on a platter; they should call it a basket. Chicken was dry, tasteless, no seasoning other than slight smoke taste. Fried corn was my side...didn't expect it to actually be battered, but that was my mistake for not asking. Batter tasted like grease, no other taste. I took it off as best I could, corn too was tasteless. I had ordered some BBQ Beef

I want to say a BIG thank you to T's Smokehouse! Our Boy Scout group planned to have dinner there while visiting Durango, but we realized at last minute that they were going to be closed that evening. The owners went out of their to help line-up another restaurant for our group and then followed-up again to make sure everything worked out. Great service!

True hidden gem, in every sense of the phrase. Tremendous food, great owners on premises and behind the kitchen. All food ordered was excellent.
The bonus points are the hidden dog friendly patio with gorgeous views. The entrance is tucked away between a few of the hotels all within walking distance of Durango Silverton Train station.
Parking seemed to be plentiful since I visited when there wasn’t any trains running.
Can’t wait to go back and explore menu.

Tried T's before and loved it. My husband and I went back yesterday 2/19/21 at 2:25-ish. There were not many cars in the parking lot and when we went in we only heard one family sitting in the back. Those are all important details because the Front End girl didn't greet us after about 2 minutes didn't look up didn't make eye contact didn't say anything and she was just making a drink? She finally acknowledged us and said "just a few minutes" so we stand and wait. And wait. And wait. All the while she's serving other guests and cleaning, she could've

Always one of the best places to come & eat in Durango. It’s hidden off the beaten path but oh so worth it. Highly recommend the barbecue platter, and you can’t leave without trying a shrimp Po boy! Everything is always seasoned well and brought hot to your table.
A cute family friendly Restaurant where the staff is always friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommend. Oh and don’t forget to try a strawberry daiquiri ya won’t be disappointed!

After a long day on the road, we were happy to have an option across the parking lot from hotel. Outdoors, casual, just what we wanted. Huge party in front of us, but we didn't have a long wait! Server was a one woman show. Took orders, served meals, and cleaned up, too! Hard worker! Our bbq was tasty, portions generous, price more than fair, and yes, the fried corn was weird and good.

I know we are a long way from New Orleans, but T's truly brings it NOLA to you. They ship in authentic, crusty, French bread for their po'boys. They have a light hand when frying up perfect shrimp and fish, make a heck of a gumbo from scratch, the smoked chicken is my (Texan) husband's favorite, and the iced tea is really good... which is super hard to find west of the Pecos. We've really enjoyed every meal we've had at T's from the sides to the mains and apps (shout out chicken on a stick). The owners are always friendly to boot. I'd recommend no reservations

I don't like writing this. But I looked forward to having some cajun food. I had seen the menu.

My wife had the chicken sandwich and said it was ok.

I had the alligator po boy. Although the bread was good and the alligator chucks were tasty, they put honey mustard on it. Seriously? Honey mustard? Mayonnaise or Remolade sauce would have been 1 million percent better! Honey mustard really?

That's why I gave it a charitable 3 stars.

A buddy and I were staying at The General Puller Hotel just down the street and I saw it on Google Maps so it was already somewhere we we considering. However, one of the bartenders at Carver Brewing Co. suggested it so as a visitor passing through we took that advice.
Well, the food was awesome. We split the Combination ($20) and as you can see it was a lot. So much actually that we didn't even end up going to dinner. Now it was 2:30 once we got our food, but this will give you an idea of the portion for two active guys on a snow bro trip.
The cashier/server was very nice and answered the questions

All sorts of terrible! First, we walked in during their advertised Happy Hour to find that not a single other person was there. Then, the girl at the register was extremely off putting. When I asked her about the specials and other questions about the menu she was completely unhelpful. She spoke so low that I couldn't even tell she was responding under the loud music! We the placed an order for the pulled pork nachos and small rib plate. Being the only people in the restaurant we thought the service would be pretty quick. Nope! It took 20 minutes for our food. Apparently our nachos had been

Crawfish Boil!!!
Ok so I've never had crawfish before so this was a whole new experience for me.

First of all they flew them in from Louisiana and they arrived ALIVE! I literally got to watch them give the little guys a bath before they were boiled alive. Sorta made me a little sad but I know the flavor of fresh food is always best so....

After the deed is done, they come out hot, red, and spicey. Served in a huge pile with sweet corn on the cob, red potatoes, and sausage chunks.

I have to admit looking at a whole animal, head and all was a little intimidating, not to mention I had no

I LOVE Cajun food and BBQ and this is it! Perfect flavoring with the blackening and spices. The portions are very good for the prices. Check out the sampler if you can't decide. T's Smokehouse & Grill is hidden around the south end of the downtown shopping corridor, so take the time to search it out. The gumbo was VERY chunky with a myriad of meats!

I had another amazing lunch at T's Smokehouse today. Went with a burger and some fries. Sherrie had read my reviews and suggested I try a different version of the fries. They were made like how they make the potato logs, which is a beer batter then fried. I loved them and was told this was how they used to make the fries. I am a huge fan of them. I think the next time I go I will be trying the sweet potato logs to see how those are. I am not typically a fan of sweet potatoes but I was told they are amazing so I am going to try them. Again hard to complain about anything here, great food and

Special of the day was a fried pork chop! It came with mash potatoes. The salad was extra. It was sooo good!! My other family got BBQ and liked it. I wish the drink was included in their BBQ platters but it's not, so paid a little extra for my drink! Over all pretty good.
