Services
A pub is a community gathering place- an overgrown "family room" where the patrons meet to share the latest news, laugh, and often times solve the world's problems. For the Irish, the pub is like a second home- not for its beer, or stout, or libations, but for its environment of family and friends, laughter and good times.
Happy Hour Monday - Friday 3PM to 8PM with food and drink specials. Experience downtown Richmond's only live music scene Wednesday through Saturday; no cover. Annual St. Patrick's Day street party and New Year's Eve party. Interested in performing at Sine Irish Pub? The food here was SO good. I got the salt and vinegar potato chips and the shrimp tacos! The homemade potato chips were the best I've ever had and their tacos were delicious as well. I also had an amazing server who was so kind and checked up on me many times. I highly recommend this place. I'll be going back for sure :)

This pub is conveniently located downtown between the capitol and James River. Across the old stone street is a Marriott Hotel. We had a late Friday lunch here. Service was very attentive. Prices reflect it's location. On that day, the Guinness pints were good. The fish in the Fish & Chips was very good. However, regarding the fries, I prefer the traditional wedge cut potatoes over the standard thin square cut. The deep fried pickles are a must!

Really enjoyable restaurant with great food and a friendly staff. I went here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend. We asked for outdoor seating. She ordered the fish and chips and I ordered a vegetarian omelet off of their brunch menu. Both were very tasty. I rounded off the meal (and my belly) with a delicious bread pudding. The restaurant is right across the street from a parking garage. Only $7 for the day. Very convenient. Just up the street from the Canal walk.

The Irish potato famine had nothing on this dish. As I opened my to-go container of corned beef and cabbage (an Irish-American staple), St. Patrick rolled in his grave. What I found was cabbage stew with a sprinkling of beef trimmings and sparse use of seasoning. The “garlic butter” was actually garlic water with some melted butter floating around. I truly felt as though it were the 19th century as ate my serving of stew in 3 bites and was left hungry and wondering if the famine would ever break. Such a renowned and easy to execute Irish-American dish, absolutely butchered by an “Irish Pub”
