Ernie Tate and his son are the father-and-son duo behind Performance Specialties here in Spring Valley, CA. Our shop was first opened back in 1974 by Ernie's father, which he started after leaving the Marine Corps in the same year. When Ernie was just 5 years old, he started to go into the shop to clean or work on things with his father.

I have been using Performance Speciality from in The 1990's I have always been satisfied with the great service I have always received. The check engine light came on in my car. After having the diagnostic test done I found out that it was my exhaust manifold was closed.
I done some price checking by calling around to different shops adding to this I was about to take a road trip out of state a 3 days drive and I not only needed the work done on car but in a timely manner.So I want to thank you guys for the great work you done.
