Chicken was delicious, but within a few bites my mouth was on FIRE. I ordered the yangyum on Uber eats, and the lowest spice option was "hot" which was what I got. It was one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten and I handle spice quite well. I was unable to eat my dish because it was so spicy. I'm so glad I didn't get a spicier sauce.

Tried the Han’s Chimaek a few days ago for the first time. Ordered the Yangnyum whole chicken and Soy wings and both were amazing and flavorful. My kids loved the Soy wings. I shared with the owner that I tasted the best fried chicken when I was stationed in Korea back in the day. Additionally when I went to Guam, a friend of mine took me, according to him the best fried chicken in Guam, to a Korean fried chicken restaurant…and he was right! There’s definitely something special about Korean fried chicken and I hope it’s not crack 😂!

The chicken was made fresh, had amazing flavor, and we will definitely be back. The woman that served us was really fun to talk to, answered all of our questions, and had terrific customer service. I was really impressed. The spiciest chicken is about a medium spice level, and is nice and sweet too. This restaurant is definitely a must try.

Ordered Signature Yangnyum wings off UberEats around midnight on a Friday since it was the only decent-looking place that was still open. OH MY SWEET FLAVOR GODS IN HEAVEN. These are the most amazing wings I've ever had. Worth every second of pain. And there were a lot of seconds of pain. In a good way. I ordered "hot" as opposed to "hotter" or "stupid hot (hazardous)" and I dunno if the chef went extra with the sauce or if that's how it usually is but WOAH. I can't imagine having any... tongue... left... if we went with one of the hotter options. Thanks

Korean fried chicken is always excellent. That said, I mourn the passing of Vons which I thought was the best. Fortunately we still have Hans and it is definitely a strong competitor, now the unchallenged guardian of the fire in the treasure valley. The one time I got their chicken, my kids thought Vons was better but I was equally happy with the two major determinants of quality in KFC: sauce flavor and crunchiness. It was also cooked all the way through, a basic requirement that is not always fulfilled. Would recommend at any time!

For a couple of days after I ate here, I told my wife over and over "That was really good chicken!" It really is good. We had the Signature Yangumyum and the creamy onion. They both were good, but the yangumyum was the best. It was not super spicy. About just right. The only downside of the restaurant is the constant annoying K-pop music if you eat in.

Awesome Korean chicken place! Parking is tough, but the chicken is so worth it. I asked for a suggestion as to what sauce I should pick for tofu and now I have a new addiction that I will cross town to feed. I can't usually handle very hot stuff and the heat was perfect. Next time, I'll stay and have a beer!

Really good korean wings! I really recommend the Yangnyum because it is a korean sweet and hot glaze with crushed peanuts. Very very flavorful. They also provide diced radishes. I do wish there was more chicken vs coating but still good. The girl working the front is super nice too. I guess they used to have Korean karaoke here pre covid times. Fun spot.

Really interesting spot that is worth a try. We had lunch here today. It takes quite a while to get your chicken wings, but you are entertained by Korean girls singing on a video on a large screen TV. Our favorite wings were the plain ones. We also tried a batch of the yangnyum Fried wings that were more spicy and seemed to have a lot more batter or were just larger wings. The wings come with some interesting sides, including what I assume is a version of Korean coleslaw and some cubed radishes. These both blend nicely with the spicy wings. There are only about six tables in the place but it wasn

I've always loved Korean fried chicken and so when I saw this place I was curious to see how KFC tasted in Boise. This location is a little south of downtown Boise about 5 minutes from Boise State University. There is no dedicated parking lot but there is street parking outside and across the street.
You order at the front and then grab a table. I ordered the half chicken ($12.50) in the yangnyum flavor. The wings are super crispy and the flavor profile is sweet and spicy. It had nuts on it which was an interesting topping. I feel like they should put the fact that this flavor has nuts on

These were the best wings I've ever had!
I love the simplicity of the menu and quant size of the restaurant. The location is convenient on Broadway and although it is small inside there are plenty of parking spots.
I placed my order to go and it was prepared timely and fresh. The portion sizes were very generous for the price. This will definitely be the spot I go regularly for a wing fix!

Korean fried wings and boneless thighs. These were delicious! I like the yangnyum, the ones with peanuts. The sauce was super garlicky. Mrs. RB40 and Junior liked the creamy onion sauce. Both were awesome. I got take out to eat in our hotel room. You can also dine in. Oh, the order comes with coleslaw or pickled radish. I wish they had more vegetable side orders. #boise #koreanfood

Yangumyum wings…. That’s a new one for me and I like! An amazing mix of flavors and spice that impressed this palate that’s dang near tasted it all. I got the combo and poured my pickled radish along with the sauce over my rice, it was great! The place looks like a dive from the outside, but inside is so impeccably clean I think you could eat off the floor and be safe. The service was stellar! I do believe I’ll be back…

I failed again. If you are familiar with my reviews, when I review a food place, chances are I won't have photos of the food. What can I say? I get home. I'm ravenous (okay, just hungry) and I want to tear into the bag of overwhelming aroma. I did get photos of the place while waiting for my order (cooked to order) and got to know the owner, Ryeongmin Han.
The place is right on Broadway with parking next door at The Broadway Bar. It's an intimate little place that leads to right to the back area counter and big electronic menu sign up above. 'chimaek' translates to chicken

This small shop on South Broadway Avenue replaced K-Fusion Korean BBQ in 2020. It specializes in Korean fried chicken, "yangnyum," which translates as seasoned.
I love fried chicken and Korean fried chicken done right is a treasure. Korean-style typically features a cornstarch coating that creates a crunchy outside that remains even after the chicken cools down. It has a lot going for it.
I ordered the "hotter" version of yangnyum wings, while Kristy got an order of signature fried wings.
I love things hot, but not in a Tabasco, Franks Red Hot or Buffalo wings sense. The
