Pleasant evening and drinks with friends. Busy but not crazy, still easy to hear the person next to you speak. Good selection for beer. Friendly staff and great food menu. Always a solid choice.

Great atmosphere, decent service, delicious fried mushrooms. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries along with a NY strip steak with mashed potatoes, brocolli and breadstick and side salad. The salad, mashed potatoes & steak were delicious. Would visit here again for sure.

First time there today. We were so impressed. Staff was wonderful. Best friend shrimp I have ever had. Killer good balsamic salad dressing. I can't wait to go back and try the fingersteaks.

I love Love LOVE this place! We go there on average of 4 times a month (sometimes more). The Friday night prime rib is the best in town and the best price! Service is always incredible, drinks are great, food is delicious and prices are more than reasonable. Support Local!!

This was the 1st time I'd ever been there. I really like the service and the vibe of the place however when I was there on Sunday watching NFL football there was a ton of kids including babies and toddlers in there. In places like this I sure wish people would just keep their toddlers and babies at home and save us a 3 hours of crying and managing of children while we watch football. The place is basically a bar which is great If you have young children just watch the games at home. We've all been there they'll grow up eventually.

We ordered the mini corn dogs and mozzarella sticks as a starter. The dogs tasted just like their big brethren with a nice balance of corn and dog. The Mozzarella Sticks were the star of the meal. They were perfectly crunchy with just the right amount of cheese.
Three burgers rounded out the plan. Two of them were cooked to order the third missed the mark, but the manager corrected the issue. The seasoning was spot on. The cheese oozed over the onions or peppers. The bun was nice. I missed mayonnaise, but didn't ask for it, so, my bad. On my burger scale, it is an 8 of 10.

Huge thank you to JP for serving my family and I even after he closed kitchen 5-10 minutes before we arrived. His customer service is outstanding. He was not at all mad that we came late, instead he served us with a friendly attitude! We had been driving all day and were super hungry. The food did not disappoint.

This is a nice place to chill for lunch. It’s more of a bar than restaurant - but that doesn’t mean the food isn’t good. Friendly and patient staff. Specialty Drinks are a bit pricey but it’s Boise and everything is expensive nowadays. They also have patio space if you want to eat outside with family and kids.
My buddy introduced us to this place and we are definitely returning. Thumbs up!

My husband and I decided last night that this is our favorite restaurant. The Mimi pastrami burger is the BEST! Not only is the food good but the service is always outstanding. Our waitress, Sesali, last night made made us feel so special and taken care of! Thank you Refuge!

The greatest neighborhood bar one could ask for. Friendly staff, great drinks and the mini corn dogs with tots are the best to enjoy with whatever game is on.
