Having lived in three different apartment buildings, I feel confident saying Martin Blu is the best one I have experienced. Below is an honest assessment of my time at Martin Blu and why I think you should consider it as your new home.
* I am not being incentivized for this review. Just wanted to share my perspective.
The Great
- Quiet...besides the occasional siren. Fellow residents are respectful and are not loud at all. The insulation must also be good because I NEVER hear my neighbors above, below, or next door unless they drop something heavy randomly. Only noise I hear is people talking

I was one of the longest staying residents at the apartment and would recommend them.
The good
> Location, you are right next to 212 and 494, which will get you anywhere around twin cities.
> About a mile from Costco and everything else that you can think of in EP, shopping, movies, groceries, restaurants, yadda yadda
> The staff throughout my time have been excellent, they try to accommodate you to their abilities, sometimes there is only so much they can do
> Pre-Pandemic, the property used to hold a monthly breakfast and a good number of summer/holiday activities/events

We recently sold our house and needed to find a short term lease for 6 months until we got into the home we are purchasing. I worked with Margie and she was the best!!! She patiently took me to each available apartment and helped me choose the one that would work best for our needs. I think I was here about 2 hours with her answering all my questions. I feel like she did more than our realtor who received a $40,000 commission selling our home. We actually feel like we are on a vacation at Martin Blu!! It feels much more like a nice hotel and the staff is wonderful. Martin Blu and Margie have exceeded

I would definitely not recommend these apartments, for the price there are far too many cons. If you live on the inside of the L (the building is the shape of an L) with the gas station outside your balcony, there is constant noise, the shape of the building funnels all the noise into the units. You'll hear loud cars entering/leaving the gas station, the very loud car wash that is used all day along with the vacuums, and of course all the noise from the street. If you work from home it's unlikely you can have a window or the patio door open and be on a call, too much noise coming in. Inside the

I feel that I can offer a unique insight, based on being the first individual to sign a lease here at Martin Blu. Although; there have been one or two staffing changes since I have moved in, the quality of services has remained rock solid. From day one; I have always felt that living here is like living in a fine hotel. The entire team has strived and achieved a level of quality that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Kudos to the front office staff; along with the building maintenance duo of Steve and Captain (who keep the wheels on the bus). I can honestly say; that I would not

Don't expect to get your full deposit back even though you leave the place completely clean. They will find some way to ding you. There was also a fire/flooding in the building and everything in the hallway was completely ripped up and filthy for months. I feel sorry for whoever moved in after me.

UPDATE: Ashley, the property manager, wrote a fake review at my place of work after I wrote this review, slandering my full name. I had to get my attorney involved before she finally deleted it. I reported this business to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in hopes nobody will ever have to go through what my family had to go through.

Never in my life have I had such a negative experience with an apartment complex. We toured the apartments, which by the way, are absolutely tiny and overpriced, and left our deposit along with applications. There is no pool

I felt compelled to write a review on the property as another reviewer seemed to imply that their is a "look" the Martin Blu is looking for and to point out the fact that said reviewer was clearly attempting to become a resident despite suggesting to others to stay away. I am in a bi-racial relationship and never have either of us felt discriminated against in any form throughout the process. The application process was fairly normal with the standard credit check and background check and payment of application fees and deposits. As for living here the office staff are attentive and friendly. Residents

Not only is the building beautiful and wonderfully maintained, the management team is also… incredibly genuine. Lori,Rachel and Colleen have all went above and beyond in making me feel like a valued resident over the past four months.
