In January of 2012, husband and wife Todd Duplechan and Jessica Maher opened Lenoir with two big ideas: to help build a strong culinary community in Austin and to create a new style of dining in Austin. Lenoir sources almost exclusively from Texas' community of farmers and food artisans who provide incredible produce, meat and cheese.
The menu changes with the Texas season with a great wine selection to complement the food. Todd and Jessica met in New York City in 2003 while working towards a future in the restaurant business. They shared a commitment to sourcing sustainable local foods from quality producers and using those ingredients to make seriously tasty food.

We call it Hot Weather Food, and it's about eating right for the season and the climate. It's important to think about what we eat in relation to where we live - and it's hot in Texas. Historically, when you look at cultures that live in hot parts of the world, food is acidic, citrusy, brothy and spicy because that's what works with the climate.
Our indoor dining room will be closed until further notice. In the meantime, join us for great food + drinks in our Wine Garden with plenty of space to forget your worries. Reservations can be made over the phone Wednesday through Sunday after 3pm at (512) 215-9778. We are happy to accommodate allergies and special diets, just give us a heads up when you make your reservation!
As part of our restaurant mission plan, we extend a unique invitation for our patrons to be a part of a community-supported restaurant (CSR). Following the model of community-supported agriculture (CSA) programs, we are seeking to create a stronger consumer-producer relationship wherein both parties benefit.

You have to go with the chef's tasting menu. It is 5 courses and served family style. The menu changes often, but the kitchen is able to handle dietary restrictions such as vegetarian and gluten free. Amazing selection of vermouth. The True Romance cocktail is a winner. You should definitely get a reservation, especially if you want to sit inside.

Had such a special birthday evening at Lenoir. Our wonderful server Clinton gave us great recommendations and even a special glass of sparkling wine for a birthday treat. Every dish we had was very tasty. The menu is small but carefully curated and offered a wide variety of options. The drinks list is extensive too! Did not see the outdoor area - we sat at the bar - but it was a great ambiance inside too. Will absolutely recommend next time we visit Austin!

Update from September 2021:
We went back for dinner. It was disappointing to see that they’re still renovating the inside. This time we tried the tasting menu: the salads were spot on, fresh and very well seasoned. But the entrees disappointed; the first one was overwhelmingly spicy and a little greasy, and the second (pork dish) was very dry and generally under seasoned. The desert was once again amazing! This is not a dinner place; it’s a brunch place. Also, I don’t understand why they put ice into almost all of their delicious drinks. I’m a little underwhelmed this time, I won’t go

Scrumptious fusion menu with the most perfect wine pairing and wonderful service. I know other local guides have complained about the price. Frankly, I think that operating a restaurant during covid with the appropriate precaution is just going to come with a bit of a price tag. I appreciate the fact that Lenoir has chosen to offer outdoor only dining. It's not easy to find a restaurant in Austin that goes the extra mile to create a safe dining experience for their patrons.

We had a magical evening in the Lenoir garden! First things first, the ambiance was so whimsical and beautiful. The lanterns hanging from the tree canopy gave a feeling of being transported to a secret wine garden to enjoy amazing food and wine under the stars.
The food was absolutely delicious, each bite and plate better than the next. We tried 4 shared plates, an entree and dessert and loved every single one. We were so excited over the wine list, featuring all natural wines that paired perfectly with the food. The service was perfection. Our server, Dustin was knowledgeable, personable and

Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday last night and had a great time.
The location was nicely tucked away, outside in the wine garden, so it had a quiet and relaxed feel.
Our server, older guy, was amazing - kind, funny, patient. We were extremely happy with him and he also gave greet recommendations. We ended up ordering the 5 course chefs tasting menu and were not disappointed.

Start by lack of parking place and a worker parking I the handicap space. I went to the hostess since they didn't have a plates or a placard and she got one of the staff to remove their car. It's only patio seating which was nice and dog friendly BUT no ramp or way I for a wheelchair. O well, maybe when they open up the motar. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went for lunch which the menu is limited to 6 dishes. Great wine cocktails but I wanted food. We ordered 3plates just to try. We were covered by flies. Food was luke warm. Good news was the do make a great beet salad . I included
