I have lived here for over a year. This is my first experience with an apartment and I couldn’t be more thankful that I moved here! The staff is amazing and friendly and I honestly consider them my friends. They always help when I need anything and are great with communication. The pool, tennis court, and gym are a plus too. Love it here, Thanks Charleston Oaks!!!

We have lived her for six years. It is a wonderful place to call home.
I have never had a problem with maintenance. The apartment are roomy and well maintained. The grounds are well kept and have gorgeous blooms most of the year.
The two pools are clean.
There is a tennis court and a dog park.
The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and people are friendly.
It is so convenient to downtown activities and its offerings of bands, shops and restaurant.
In addition there are BBQues and other apartment community activities.
Home is what you make of it.
Consider making this your hom.

My girlfriend lived here for a year, so my experience is secondhand. I can say that I’ve witnessed the staff being unnecessarily rude to her on multiple occasions. Every time I ride through the complex, the dumpsters are overflowing into road and there’s several pretty deep potholes that have been there nearly the entire time that I guess nobody cares about. There’s one that’s about 4 feet long and it’s kinda hard to miss and gets worse every time I visit, then several smaller ones scattered all throughout the complex. I moved from Florida and I enjoyed Alabama. Summer and Candi made my residence at Charleston Oaks an experience that will not be forgotten. Summer remembered my name and waived or said hello to me when our paths would cross. If I had a concern it was always addressed professionally, sincerely and promptly by the staff! Maintenance was always quick to respond and take care of items that needed to be fixed. maintenance crew was always nice too.

I am a current resident at Charleston Oaks Apartments and am appalled with the apartment and management. I cannot wait to move! The place is old and my apartment has an odor that I cannot seem to get rid of. The "upgrades" are poor and look like very cheap imitation. I can hear everything my upstairs neighbor does and the floor squeaks very badly when they move around. The fireplace screen is warped and doesn't fit the fireplace entirely so...not going to be using that. Even though maintenance is quick to respond, they're fixes are done hastily and not quality work.
