Workers' compensation is a form of insurance that provides wage replacement and medical benefits to injured workers. In Washington state, the Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) is the state agency that oversees distributing workers' compensation benefits to employees who are injured or contract an illness at work.
About 70% of workers' compensation claims in Washington are handled by the Washington Department of Labor & Industries (L&I). Essentially, L&I is a state-run insurance company that provides benefits to workers who are injured or develop a work-related disease or illness on the job. The remaining workers' comp claims are handled directly by employers that are self-insured.

If I could give this law firm zero stars, I would. At first, I was transferred to someone with the initials P.C. At first, I thought this individual was an attorney only to find out he is NOT an attorney, but just a individual who takes information. I gave P.C. information to only receive an email asking for more information. I then gave all the information which should have provided enough documents to provide a verdict in my favor with a "Preponderance of the evidence." Instead, when I called a week later I was told the attorneys were busy in a conference call and could not get back to me. I

Because of their work over $9.000 that L&I mandated I pay back was dismissed. While working my case they had payments reinstated with an increase! They closed my case with a structured settlement. A HUGE added bonus is the stress and uncertainty that was taken off my shoulders. Things just magically started to work after they took my case. The roadblocks ceased!
Let's not forget Covid because during the whole case

I have never seen a company fight as hard as these guys did. We were put in a very difficult situation, and Emery Reddy worked night and day to get the job done. I worked for a well known placement agency as a recruiter in downtown Seattle. They lied about pay and wages. I was told I was a salaried employee in the offer letter only to find out I was an hourly employee that was required to work more than 8 hours per day, but was only paid for 8 hours per day. I looked up L & I online and this was the first company that popped up. not paying attention and only seeing L & I I hit the call button when the lady answered the phone she as was I confused until we realized I had the wrong number. Once she realized I was not a client her voice, demeanor and attitude completely changed. She rudely said wrong number and hung up. It just seemed a little uncalled for to be so rude for someone accidentally having the wrong number.

We got rear-ended while stopped. The settlement didn't cover all the expenses and our health care provider took 60% of his fees.
As per what seems to be the standard, the underling attorney appointed to us went someplace else a couple months before everything was finalized.
What I should have done was have a radar controlled rocket launcher installed on the back of the car to blow up the other guy's car before it hit us.
