This is an edit of previous review. I am pleased to say my issues were resolved and I’m satisfied with the outcome. I initially chose Brookside because of how beautiful and well-maintained the property was and how professional the manager and her staff were. I then decided to renew my lease because I really enjoy living here. Maintenance issues, non-emergency ones are handled extremely fast, most within a couple of hours. None of the horror stories I hear from people living on other properties. So initially when faced with their previous decision regarding repairing the damage from the winter

It's really frustrating to drive by the complex and see the American flag at half-staff but the state flag flying at full-staff. With so much of the Killeen community being servicemen and servicewomen, I think it's a shame that people don't know that proper flag etiquette should have no flag flying higher than that of the stars and stripes. Very sad people don't know how to properly respect our nation's flag.

My neighbor’s pipes froze and burst during storm and flooded my apartment. That was last Tuesday. As of right now the same carpet and padding is in my apartment. Yesterday I came home from work to some ppl tacking the carpet back down. No way!!! The odor in here is unbearable and they refuse to replace the carpet. I have paid on time ALWAYS, no complaints, and keep a SPOTLESS apartment. At this point they’re unwilling to replace the carpet. To be treated like this when I’ve done nothing wrong is unforgivable. Please think twice and find another place to leave. They only care about money,

Horrible experience. This weekend my aunt came from out of town to visit my mother. My mother has been a resident at this complex for almost ten years. My aunt parked in my mothers “paid for” parking spot. In the morning, when they woke up, my aunts vehicle was gone. We called the front office. We were informed her vehicle was towed because she didn’t have a parking sticker. Crazy!!! No one ever even called my mother. My aunt had to spend $300 to get her vehicle out of the pound

I am so impressed!! Nice apartment! The people here stay on top of everything!! Maintenance is quick and pleasant. The office staff are nice and helpful. Today was our inspection...the MANAGER and maintenance came in to check everything. And they actually checked stuff!! NOT just a walk thru like we had in Dallas. LOVE it here!
