Our experience at this place started out really nice and we like the unit, but unfortunately, we have had problems with a huge issue getting neglected and ignored in our apartment by both maintenance and management. For some odd reason, cigarette smoke odor floods our hallway bathroom (one for guests) repeatedly in a 24 hour cycle. Maintenance has come by and tried some things, but most of the time our requests have been cancelled with zero communication or explanation. It seems very unprofessional to handle a situation this way, and it makes us feel like our safety, well-being, and comfort are

Aberdeen has been a great place to call my home during my time in Lawrence. Being a dog owner it is not always easy finding a place to live. Aberdeen is very dog friendly and has recently added a wonderful fenced dog area on the property. I have referred many friends to live at Aberdeen and will continue to in the future!

The apartments themselves are spacious with appliances and a washer/dryer. The size and proximity to the highway are probably the best things Aberdeen has going for them. My favorite part is that they don't have many restrictions on the pets so you can have big dogs! Management can be difficult to deal with; there always seems to be a different girl at the front desk and none of them appear to communicate with each other. If something goes wrong with your rent (payment, etc) or they have an issue, don't expect a call from them. They only try to contact residents through notes left on

Worst company ever. Aberdeen is the same people that run Alvarado and a few other apartment in town. I was helping my cousin move out and their poorly installed large bathroom mirror fell on me. Not only did they refuse to pay my medical bills but they charged my cousin $200 for the mirror that was stated to be only $60 in the lease contract to replace. When asked why there was such a discrepancy, their staff responded with the fact that they could. Seriously?
