I am an out of State client, over 1500 miles away, and through the 2 years of work on my case I never met anyone from the firm in person, yet they treated me like I lived down the street from the office. I am very pleased with the professional teamwork, and their patience and timely responses to my requests and to the task at hand.

To value personal injury lawsuits in Pennsylvania, you must first understand how to calculate damages. It is not enough to say that you were involved in an accident, or that a doctor committed an error. In Pennsylvania injury law, you need to prove (1) liability, (2) causation and most importantly (3) damages.

Nicole helped us close a pending assessment appeal with the NA School district. She handled our case professionally, efficiently, and diligently. I cannot say enough kind things or recommend her more for your assessment appeal representation. Thanks Nicole!!

Very knowledgeable, helped us a ton. They are experts on contesting county property valuations, starting with the extensive Q&A on their webpage. We retained them, and they ended up creating an annual savings for us that was 3x their fee. Handled a hearing, and then negotiated a settlement for us. All through this, very clear communication from them on what they needed, what was happening, and why they were recommending something. I recommend them highly.

Nicole Hauptman Amick and her firm were an absolute pleasure to work with. For an extremely reasonable one time fee, her firm handled every aspect of our case from the initial hearing up through an appeal, which ultimately settled with a substantial reduction in our assessment. I would absolutely recommend Flaherty Fardo Rogel and Amick for anyone looking to get a fair assessment on their property value after purchasing a home in the Pittsburgh area!

4.5 stars. My husband's and my school district had tried to raise our property tax assessment based on the purchase price of our house, although they should have used either a 2012 base year or a current market value that was depreciated to 2012. The result was that my husband and I would pay significantly more property tax than our neighbors pay. My husband's coworkers recommended that we hire Flaherty Fardo, a law firm that was founded in 1997 and has expertise in tax appeals, to defend our real estate tax appeal.

Very responsive and easy to work with. We were in a dispute with the school board over taxes (the dreaded tax increase) and the school board wanted to raise them an insane amount! Our lawyer was very communicative, easy to work with, made the process seamless, and helped us come to a settlement quickly (and a VERY reasonable settlement at that!) Would highly recommend them!

Great experience working with this group and specifically Nicole. She is a pro at navigating Property Tax Assessment Appeals.
Communication was flawless and quick. I understood each step and was able to provide all the necessary documents to support my case. Nicole handled the matter through each phase and was able to settle the matter earlier that anticipated! Happy with the results and my representation!
The price was concise and covered me through each phase. It was a worthwhile investment as the savings will pay it off in just a few years.
Will utilize them again in the future if needed

We had such a positive experience. They were responsive, prompt, completely professional. They communicated clearly, gave us honest assessments, were 100% reliable and kept on top of everything over a long period of time. (They were the opposite of predatory, for what it's worth.) And...the outcome was very good. Highly recommend.

After a building permit for a small exterior repair triggered a crazy hike in the tax assessment of my properties, I hired a different legal firm to make the initial appeal to the Board of Property Assessment. After receiving a denial on the appeal, I turned to Attorney Nicole Hauptman Amick of Flaherty Fardo, LLC for our last recourse, a Common Pleas hearing in front of the Allegheny County Board of Viewers (BOV). Since this was our final shot at appeal my husband and myself were leery about turning this over to another law firm rather than attempting representation ourselves. However, after

These guys are great! I needed a consultation and got one for free. I talked with attorney Noah Paul Fardo and he was very helpful. He walked me through the entire process. What I am most impressed with is that he did not try to sell his services. Instead he advised the most cost effective way to help me and actually told me I was better off not hiring a lawyer for now. I think it is very rare for a lawyer to tell a potential client not to hire a lawyer, when it would have been so easy for him to sell his services and charge me, of which I was ready to hire and pay them. Thanks guys, I appreciate
