Our personal training program is led by Ronan Lennon - a 20+ year functional fitness coach with a focus on helping you achieve optimal wellness to look, feel and perform at your best through smarter and more efficient training. We support a vast range of clients from athletes to individuals looking to maximize range of motion, strength or resilience as we age.

For optimal wellness, Ronan Lennon works with clients to address nutrition and lifestyle factors that may be inhibiting health and performance. Together, we will develop highly customized nutrition programs, meal plans and wellness coaching to promote weight loss, increased energy, improved sleep and overall vitality.
Services
Ronan has been a functional fitness coach for 24 years (and in the Bay Area for over 18 years). In that time, he has learned that there are many factors which can affect our health, power, wellness and performance. Ronan works with a diverse range of clients one on one, and designs custom programs that suit your unique goals to make a real difference in overall wellbeing.
Our well-rounded approach takes into consideration all aspects of your life when assessing and designing a program. We understand how to help you achieve your goals - in particular when there are difficult obstacles that may hinder progress. Your first session includes a full comprehensive assessment of core strength, mobility, stability, motor control, strength and balance.

I've been training 1-2 times/week with Ronan at Leap Fitness for the last 6 months. It's been a great experience after many months of pandemic exercising in my living room.

Ronan’s holistic approach to fitness, his ability to assess and approach each session with a fresh eye, results in a routine which balances effective challenge and corrective instruction -translating into a super efficient hour. In the eight years that I have known and worked with Ronan, I have found him to be the best personal trainer I have ever come across, before or since.

Many personal trainers claim to have a holistic philosophy, but Ronan actually applies this concept. His approach is end to end, in terms of physical, psychological, and nutritional health and wellbeing.

As opposed to a "one size fits all approach" Ronan listens to, observes, and addresses each client's individual needs, and based on this crafts a program that truly allows them to accomplish their goals. And he does this with compassion

I have worked with Ronan Lennon as my personal trainer for 10 years. He has continually responded to my changing needs and has designed programs that make a real difference to my wellbeing—increasing my flexibility, balance, strength and fitness. I've trained with Ronan for almost three years, having had a "meh" experience with other instructors before. He is superlative. I used to go once a week but am now working out with him twice a week and the the change in how I feel and what I can do is quite amazing. Ronan knows how much to push because he takes the time to understand your body and what you are capable of, and he is invariably upbeat and encouraging. I have had the experience of working out with trainers for about 20 years. All have helped me work on my body, but when I switched to Ronan Lennon about 5 years ago, I had no idea what an upgrade he would be. There are some trainers who think they know it all, or, at least are not interested in continuing to learn. This is the opposite of Ronan. He is dedicated to his clients, and to his profession. If a client has an issue with any part of the body, Ronan will study up and be prepared to offer informed, expert advice by the next class. My wife and I have been training with Ronan for several years and we are very happy with him. I recommend him highly.
Ronan goes way beyond straight strength training. In addition to strength he works on your core, posture and flexibility. He is extremely observant and will notice things about the way you move and train and then incorporate it into your workout.
Ronan also spends a lot of time keeping up with the latest techniques in training. He has a wide knowledge of physical health and how to enhance and maintain it.
