We moved in about 2 months ago and our experience here has been amazing before and after the move in. Phi (the resident manager) is amazing with the move in help and even when something went wrong in the unit, the maintenance team is very quick to help and fix the issue! The apartment was clean. The amenities were up to expectation. However, the biggest sell is the people working there. The maintenance crew, lead by Jordan, was the friendliest and most accountable group I've encountered. One of the building managers, Phi, brought so much positive energy and was always willing to help. He even gave me a few dollars when I had no cash on hand. He did not have to do that, but it's an example of his commitment to elevating the Etta community. Stayed at Etta for one year during covid and it was a dream! Great facilities and well kept common areas. Even the trash/recycling areas were spotless! Etta was also great at making sure residents were able to maximize common spaces, staying on top of covid news, and opening up the gym as soon and as widely available as possible.
Phi, the building manager, started sometime in the middle of my stay at the Etta and wow what a difference his energy brings! Previous managers were there to perform their jobs but were somewhat aloof. Phi makes sure to say hi and greet every single resident there. He

We have lived at the Etta for almost 2 years.. we have lived in San Francisco for 8 years.. this has been the best.... the property is kept extremely clean. Jared the maintenance guy is great... not only does he repair what you need , but he goes the extra mile.. he came to fix the dryer after that he replaced the light in it and took the lint trap apart and cleaned it out....
The management office holds community events for the residents. The are a lot of fun and well executed.

Me and My partner have moved here since september of last year 2020 and it is one of the best decision we have ever made.
I checked out different places before I visited ETTA apartments and this by far is the best because of the following:
First, The maintenance of this building is top-notch!
Always clean, Modern amenities, Very close to a lot of food places, and especially my work which is down the street.
DOG FRIENDLY environment!
Also, In our 1 bedroom unit, we have in-door washer and dryer that is super new!
Clean GYM on the first floor, Secured

I moved to Etta for a few reasons, the amenities, central location, and customer service from property mgmt. I was staying in furnished apartments in similar places like The Pinnacle. After staying here one week In a month to month I decided to stay a year! Phi at the front takes care of everything and is by far the best property mgmt team I have ever seen. they treat you like humans and have 5 star service! I use the gym and take advantage of the outdoor areas so I feel like I'm getting my value. They also have events I attend and feels like a community which is nice because I'm new

We've lived here for about a year and the service has VASTLY improved towards the second half of our lease. The earlier months were pretty terrible due to a broken elevator that was out of service for months, forcing all of the residents in this 13 floor building to use a single elevator...during COVID.
On top of that, the painfully slow response time by some of the original property management team made us regret paying so much to live here.
HOWEVER, since Phi and Jordan took over, this apartment complex really took a turn for the better. The response time for emails and service requests

Bad things first. Even though Etta is cleaning the area every morning, you have to be cautious. Don't park on Hemlock even for just one hour, your car will be vandalized. Just be careful with the neighbourhood. Hopefully the city of San Francisco will resolve Tenderloin situation.
Good things. The most wonderful people to work with. We had a specific situation, so I was looking for the right place for at least 2 month. Seeing lots and lots of units, dealing with at least 15 property managements. Phi, Jordan, Sarah, all doing amazing job. I feel very comfortable leaving

This is the best apartment complex ever!!! Sara and Phi really make sure to create a close and tight knit community. They put on so many great events and really care about the Etta residents. I feel such at home here. Beyond the amazing living spaces and communal areas, I really feel a connection with the community. I cannot imagine a better place to live. Also, the community events are literally the best. I am deeply happy about living in Etta.

It's been about 3 weeks since my family and I moved into Etta Apts. We just love everything about it. We have the corner unit on the upper floor facing northwest so we get an amazing sunset every evening, when it's Sunny of course. Our city view is awesome. We have a spacious kitchen with an island. All the staffs have been so welcoming. Phi, Sarah, and Jordan are amazing and always accommodating to our requests. You can't beat the location, we are so close to all the tourist areas. Can't wait to explore our neighborhood.

We are very happy that we landed at Etta apartments. The location is great and our unit is beautiful, with excellent use of space. What makes it stand out even more though are the people.
We are impressed with the level of professionalism and responsiveness from Phi from our first call to his follow through when we arrived. Phi is attentive to detail, took the time to assist us and was very welcoming.

We just moved in a couple weeks ago and are SO IMPRESSED with the level of customer service from Phi, Trevar, Sarah, and Jordan! They are always available to assist with any issues or questions we come across, and resolve them without hesitation. What a dream team - they definitely make this place feel like home. Bonus points for being the most dog friendly building I've ever lived in! We are so happy we made the decision to live in Etta!

My partner and I were very impressed with the building, the amenities, the great location and most importantly, the way Bernard and Sarah made us feel so welcome in our cool new apartment. They were so warm and friendly. They even anticipated questions we hadn't thought of. The building has a cool vibe, is well taken care of and run by super friendly staff. This 1 star review is strictly for the leasing service [that we never received].
We scheduled a self-guided tour on Etta's website for yesterday, Labor Day. We got a confirmation email right away. A few days later, we received another confirmation from one of their leasing agents explaining that the unit we were interested in might be leased up but happy to show us other floor plans or ones that will be available for a future date. We felt comfortable knowing that the office will be opened on Labor day + we were able to talk to an actual person over email. On the day of the appointment, we

My sister just got transferred to the bay area for her job and we have had a horrible time apartment shopping. We came in last week for a tour and we truly appreciate the attention and information that the manager gave us . With Covid it's been hard to get tours and feel like if your making the right decision in choosing the right place to live, but thanks Sarah for all your HELP!!!! Does it get better than Etta? I loved it here and wish I could have stayed. The staff is amazing, especially Sarah! She's was willing to go above and beyond. I looked at several properties and had so many questions for her and she was more than happy to help me with them and get the answers I needed. In the end I ended up moving to the North Bay because I can now work from home due to Covid, but if I needed to be in the city, I would have chosen Etta...hands down! I'm honestly still a little bummed I didn't go with them! Do yourself a favor...rent here!
