I lived at Oakleigh Apartments for about a year before purchasing a house. Location and price were perfect for me. The staff are friendly and help the best they can. For these reasons I have referred family and friends when they are searching for a nice apartment in BR that won’t break the bank to Oakleigh.

I moved home to Baton Rouge and needed a short term lease while looking for a house. This is an affordable and quiet community. The management is very responsive and do their best to fix the problems in the units. The previous tenant in my apartment had been there for 10 years or so- so there were lots of issues that had to be addressed. They even sent someone out on Thanksgiving day to fix a toilet that was old and leaking. With this complex you will not get granite or other fancy amenities, but you will get a clean quiet home and rest assured the management will take good care of the property

Ive been living here for almost 3 months. Camryn in the office is very nice and they respond to emails quickly. You aren't able to tour the exact model of apartment you would be leasing. Its more like touring whatever is vacant at the time even if its model is different that what you are getting which is a little annoying. Maintenance is very nice and come and fix things pretty quickly. Its usually been between 1-5 days for the most part. The move in process isn't always the smoothest but the place is pretty nice in terms of location and its not super loud either. Its also well insulated which

Kelly has made sure all the piddlin' things that needing fixing got fixed.
Tay went above and beyond to fix the stubborn kitchen drawer.
You can't beat the location and price. Grounds are kept up, and our neighbors are genuinely nice. Over all, I'd have to say this is the nicest apartment complex I've lived in in the last 40+ years.
Bonus points for NO FLOODING!!!

I've lived in Oakleigh for nearly three years and I can honestly say, this has been one of the best complexes I've ever lived in. Sure, there are areas of improvements, but overall it's a nice and safe place to live. One of the things that I like most is the response time and attentiveness from the staff. As a residents who has been here for years, the staff now know me by name and it makes for a pleasant relationship. I've lived in two units on the property and they both have been warm and felt like home. In my first unit, I had a leak and the staff found a new unit for me, was very understanding
