Dr. Jensen is a 1995 graduate of Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and moved to Florida upon graduation. In 2002, after working for 7 years in Tarpon Springs, she opened Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Jensen has a special interest in canine behavior and training, nutrition, and animal welfare.

Our pets , three dogs and a cat ,were Dr Harpers patients for a long time , then we had to relocate, and then the pandemic..., it's been few years we haven't seen her nor the wonderful team , when we were traveling from east coast to west coast and when my puppies needed a vet , I will say no one was as knowledgeable,and as helpful as dr Harper, our little baby , chorkie has bad allergie and no vet could heal her , our only worry always was ,seems ,we never seen an older dogs when visiting her,and since our pups got older , we think they may not like to treat older pets ....other then

I found Hyde Park Vet about a month or two ago since moving to Tampa with my 13 year old persian cat. I did receive bad news and I've been coming in weekly to get my cat pain injections to keep her as comfortable as i can. I do want to say that the entire staff has treated me so well during this hard process and David at the front desk has been especially caring and so sweet. The love and care my cat has received has meant the world to me! I will continue to recommend this place to everyone.

My husband surprised me with a puppy on 5/1/19, and I found Hyde Park Vet after googling closest vet with great reviews. I have brought my dog here faithfully since then and I am never disappointed. Whether it’s an issue or routine I always feel I receive the best services, and they show they really love my dog. I can always get an appointment soon, I never feel rushed and they answer all my questions. I recently had her spayed, and had contemplated doing the surgery at a low cost facility. Recently adopted a heartworm positive dog - visited Dr. Mueller - she got my dog all squared away with vaccines and necessary meds to make the transition from shelter to home, Dr. Mueller also answered every one of my questions completely without making me feel rushed - staff is also quick to be helpful and informative - I felt I was getting my money's worth out of every visit - will certainly return

We just lost a kitty (my Puf), and everyone who loves their pets knows how much that hurts. I can't even start to express my sorrow. I Initially came here for a second opinion on a diagnosis that my dog received from another super popular clinic in tampa. They suspected something else was going on with my dog, ran the required tests and referred me to the neurologist. There were complications along the way with treatment but they knew exactly what to do and got him taken care of. My dog might not be here if it wasn't for them. I have honestly never been to a worse vet. I had my appointment this past Monday for my 14 week old puppy and I was trying to give the medical director, Preston, the benefit of the doubt before solidifying my opinion on the facility. I showed up for my appointment a little early that day and received a call from my vet tech who never told me his… name and actually did not even tell me where he was calling from just said " I see your dog has never been here before" after I answered. The best in the bay, I would never want to bring my dogs anywhere else. From getting them in last minute when things are serious, to the customer service they provide on a daily basis. They provide excellent options for service but are not pushy when it comes to deciding what you want to do. I recommend them to anyone looking for a lifelong vet.

Our princess had been struggling for 24 hours with a stomach bug. We recently relocated back to Tampa, and this is 2 blocks from home so have them a call. We were so welcomed, and treated like we had been clients for years. 6 hours later we were met at the front door, and they took her inside. Got update phone calls while our family went and grabbed coffee, and an hour later, picked her up with all we needed, and have gotten 2 follow ups since then. Well done HPVC! Amazing staff! They go above and beyond I was truly impressed! First they are the only vets I could find that agree to do international Health certificates in Tampa Bay and that send them electronically to the USDA without telling you to go through a pet transporter (which costs way more than if you do it yourself, I only used a transporter in… miami for the ticket and loading on plane they were amazing too: peace of mind pet resort and shipping 100% recommend them as well).Then, they check up on the USDA application to make sure it goes through and is taken care off. Life in the time of COVID is often harder than it needs to be, but the folk at Hyde Park Vet are doing their best to make you forget that! Today was our first visit at this vet and the experience was AMAZING! Everyone we encountered on the phone and in person was so nice and welcoming. Our dog loved it there! We felt safe with the social distancing procedures, and they have the process well-defined! (Pricing was reasonable as well.)
I'm glad Hyde Park was recommended to us as we have finally had a positive vet experience in Tampa. We will definitely be back!

This vet is exactly who you want to take care of your animals! They go above and beyond with the amount of care and service they provide. They treat your pets as if they were their own. I have been a client of this practice since 2011; Dr. Harper and her staff cared for my senior pup with such incredible concern and love, and when he passed on, have since exhibited the same level of care with my 2 pups who are now 6yo but have been patients of the practice since they were babies. We absolutely love this practice. The front office staff is amazing and knows us by name (even though we don't frequent the practice on a super regular basis). Found a street parking spot right in front and whisked my cat in for her first appointment there.
Nice space with some fun animal-oriented art on the walls and three cats that apparently live there and seem quite content.
The exam room was clean and comfortable and the vet was extremely friendly and helpful. She really listened to my questions and concerns and was quite gentle with my pet.
I never felt like they were pushing or pressuring me for any unnecessary tests or shots. They really seemed to have my cat's best interest in mind.
I hope I only have to take my cat there for routine

So glad I chose this vet! I'm new to Tampa and I actually picked this vet through a recommendation from Nicole who currently works there (& seeing the good reviews helped too!). Everyone seems so nice and the vet I met was super patient and sweet. Great care for the price. Charlie got all his shots and his exam here as well as his fecal and heart work test which just two days after his appointment I got a personal call from the vet saying he's clean.
