I will never refer anyone to live in any of DTN’s communities, especially in East Lansing. The staff is anything but helpful, and the property managers do not care about their tenants at all. I’ve lived at University Villa for two years. Love the location, but can’t stand the company. It’s only gotten worse.

A woman living in an apartment complex owned by you had a carport fall on her car due to negligence and you are refusing to cover cost of damages cause by you’re faulty property and equipment. You are acting as… if you are a slumlord willing to take the money of residents but not own up to the responsibilities that come with being a landlord. Shame on you. This is just the beginning of me leaving poor reviews and I will continue to spread the word of how little you care foe you’re renters.

I hate leaving bad reviews I feel so bad about it, but I feel so hopeless in my situation with DTN and I wouldn’t want anyone to experience the same thing I did. My roommate and I live in University Villa and… when we toured we were shown a beautiful model unit. When we moved in: it smelled terrible, there was a giant stain from water damage all over the bathroom floor, our AC smelled like urine, our sink smelled like gas, the tiles are falling out of the shower wall, within a month we had a drain fly infestation, and our unit didn’t have any of the updates the model unit did
