We didn't eat inside, we sat outside and they brought the food to us. It was really cool. The tables with the fire puts were really warm. The food was and their drinks are delicious! The cider I got was super crisp!

We enjoy trying new breweries every place we go, and this place has a decent selection of crafts.
The beer was very tasty. We had their sour, and boy did our lips pucker.
The food was pretty good, I definitely think their pizza is the go to. But unfortunately we didn't have the pizza.
All in all I recommend this establishment, but prepare yourself for long wait times. Once seated service is quick and pleasant.

This was good, server great. You can buy the kitchen a round for $5 which we thought was awesome. We'd planned on doing so but food coming out was slow, we waited over an hour and it wasn't that busy so they didn't get one from us this time. We ordered appetizers with our beer when we sat. The beer came quickly but all the food came out all at once. I've had better experiences here in the past.

Excellent food, but so popular the wait is often extensive. Our order got messed up but they worked to fix it. Just left members of our group not eating while others were...

There's a lot of places in Durango to go for a beer and food. Steamworks is a long standing staple of the Durango community. They were brewing & serving beer long before the craft beer craze took hold of the country.
The beer here is fantastic and always on point. I've never had a bad choice. Their recent 25th anniversary Barleywine is amazing.
Food is likewise good. It's typical bar food with some fancier options from time to time, but it's always been great. Never a complaint from me.

Dirty fries were yummy! Brisket dip sandwich was great. (pardon the bite from my sandwich). Roasted potatoes good. Chicken fried steak and gravy also wonderful. Husband had the barley wine. He enjoyed it. The Cabernet was quite tasty as well. They were extremely busy. We waited an hour but was worth the wait. Service was great even with almost every table taken.

Ok, so expect a long wait and save a spot on the wait list on-line. I love this place, I’m not sure why bar food taste so great here, maybe it’s because you’re in beautiful Durango. The pizza is delicious (I ate a piece before the photo) the gingerita drink was made with gingerbeer and jalapeño tequila distilled in Colorado. I recommend the brisket dip sandwich and fish tacos! The Colorado Kolsch beer is soooo good. I love this place! Super cute t-shirts and tank tops for sale too (I collect brewery tees).

My boyfriend and I had been planning to try Steamworks for 5 years and we finally made a special trip from Albuquerque to Durango just to experience it. We brought our little one with us, too, and felt it was absolutely family friendly. I 100 percent recommend the crab boil and these fries as an appetizer. We wish we lived closer.

Food was good, we were a party of 6, and we did have a few of us dissapointed in our meals but still decently satisfying.
It had a great vibe and the service was great!
Probably not a place we would actively choose to come again to but we left happy and full.
