Services
For almost 70 years of tradition and service, Jelacic Funeral Home is still owned and operated by the Jelacic family. Jelacic Funeral Home has served the Greater Milwaukee area with the utmost care and compassion. Our family approach is to make a personal commitment to helping the bereaved cope during this very difficult time in their lives.
Jelacic Funeral Home offers many different types of services as a way to meet the many needs of our community. If you desire, we are available to make any or all arrangements in the comfort of your home, which many families prefer. Funeral with a viewing, followed by a service. Entombment, burial, or cremation takes place after the service at a church, a cemetery chapel or the funeral home.
We offer a large array of caskets, burial vaults, urns, and cemetery markers. The least expensive casket we offer is a cloth covered octagon-shaped wood casket at $735. The least expensive metal casket we offer is a 20 gauge steel casket at $925.00 in a variety of colors. Many other caskets are offered.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

Have used Jelacic twice in the last few years for my elderly parents. Tom and the staff are extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. They expertly coordinated all the arrangements and went out of their way to personalize the service and make sure everything was as nice and easy as possible; all at a great price. Great to do business with, highly recommend!

Tom Jelacic is a true professional who is very accessible by phone, down-to-earth, very reasonable with respect to cost, and extremely helpful with the details in planning a funeral. He handled both my parent’s funerals with the utmost level of excellence. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
