Husband and wife, Ben and Acacia Deasy, founded CrossFit Lockhart fueled with passion and purpose, using the CrossFit methodology as its driving force. We now have an amazing staff, replete with highly skilled coaches and trainers, and we offer a variety of additional programs led by talented, dedicated professionals, all aligned with the same mission: to facilitate healing and inspiration.
CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone - people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art disguised as a dance and performed to musical instruments and traditional Brazilian songs.

There are many CrossFit locations to choose from but this one has it all. When looking for a place to train, it is extremely important to me that the coaching and training is superb. Acacia is beyond superb. Her attention to each one of her athletes is just what I was looking for. Whether you are new to CrossFit, young or older, she works with you to optimize your health. She focuses on form and ability. Recently they were blessed to have a new coach, Joyce, join the team. She is an absolute treasure and more than qualified. They also have a Smoothie Bar! You should definitely check them out and

I've been going to Crossfit Lockhart for a while now (I'm late writing this review) and I can honestly say the coaches care about your fitness and health. They pay close attention to you (and everyone) as you perform your strength exercises and point out deficiencies to help you improve your form which leads to improved overall results. There is a great mix of strength and conditioning in every class. And, the great social atmosphere keeps you coming back even if you're not "feeling it" that day. I definitely recommend CFLH!

When my CrossFit box closed, I was looking for a new community. I wanted to make sure I found a box that was the right fit for me, so I did a few trial days at several of the boxes near me. In the end, I joined CrossFit Lockhart for the programming, coaching experience, and culture. I now consider the coaches and members my friends and family. If you are looking for a gym/box, you definitely want to check out CrossFit Lockhart!

Great gym with great coaches and welcoming members. The gym is spacious, functioning equipment, and challenging workouts that are modifiable for various fitness levels. I haven't worked out regularly in quite some time and was nervous getting back into a routine, but the modifications and direct coaching have helped get back in the swing of things injury free.
