Giving 1 star is too high for this place. I inquired about an apartment and manager was so ready to rent to me. Told me how at one time she was down on her luck...blah, blah, blah. Anyway turned in my app and my non-refundable fee. This was on a Monday. She stated she would call me later that day. Hours passed and no call. So I called her...and to no surprise there was no answer so left message. Time goes by so call again and she finally answered to tell me she was processing my paperwork the next morning and would call me. No call the next day so giving her the benefit of doubt waited till the

I have lived here for almost 3 years now. From my application to monthly rents, inspection, maintenance, lawn care & a community as a whole, you will NOT EVER find better. Weekends are just as quiet as the weekdays & that speaks volume. I highly recommend canelot to all of my friends & anyone looking for a quiet peaceful environment. I lived here for 1 year and 6 months. Very affordable. The garbage disposal stopped working in the kitchen and was never repaired and my request to get it fixed was overlooked. Also, the policy on the deposit fee is illusory. I was told that to get my full deposit back, the oven, shower, and refrigerator had to be cleaned. The manager said "it has to be in the condition you found it"... which makes absolutely no sense because that's impossible if one has stayed there for almost 2 years. She took my money from the deposit to have the appliances cleaned, which makes no sense because isn't that the
