It was perfect for me. I had the luxury apt. I love the floor plan 2 full bath 2 room 5 big closets, and on same level. The view of the city was beautiful especially at night. I try all the amenities. The rooftop patio, fitness room and media room were my favorite. I miss playing pool alot. Plenty of parking space for my two vehicles as well. Any issues I had all staff was friendly and promptly to my needs. Let's face it I had to be realistic, moving and the commute closer to my job saves me tremendous amount in long run. I have to V8's that I like alot, but anyway I would live there again !

My boyfriend and I moved to Newington Towers during the pandemic, and we couldn’t have been more happy with our 1 year there. The front office is quickly accommodating if you need something, the maintenance employees are so attentive and welcoming, and the concierge always greeted us with a smile in the evenings. The apartments are huge, and the two bath was a big win. It was very affordable and looked great, another win. The only thing I would recommend the towers should invest in is an automatic door entrance for individuals that are disabled or elderly. The door is oddly heavy and I think

The apartments are nice, clean and well monitored with over 50 security cameras to ensure safety. The man at the front door is great and is always pleasant and the maintenance men here are always around and if you need them they are always so willing to assist. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone. It is kept up and neighbors are very trust worthy.

This place is well maintained and are quick to help. The rooms are very spacious and we receive a lot of natural light. I'm in love with the open concept kitchen and living room with the stainless appliances and granite countertops. The maintenance team are super friendly and very helpful. I love how there is a trash chute and laundry on every floor. With the current car thefts that have been plaguing Connecticut, the gated parking lot gives you peace of mind. Newington Towers is the best apartment I have ever lived in. The rooms are spacious, the management is beyond AMAZING, and it is clean and well kept. I can not stress this enough, if you are looking for a place to live and enjoy your space, then look no further... Newington Towers is it. Management are the kindest people ever. They have a cleaner that cleans everyday (M-F). I have never waited more than 24hrs for something to get fixed in my apartment. I just call them and they fix it in less than 24 hours. As a young working female, it is a good feeling to come home to a secure and clean apartment

I am writing this review after really trying to give this place a try. This place is not at all what the advertising presents. I don't agree with the posting from 9/19/18 where it says that the individuals have no clue what they are doing. I am a business professional and came to the building back in Feb 2018 with expectations that the building had amenities that were advertised accordingly, i.e. a concierge/doorman that accepted packages all throughout the evening and weekend for those of us that worked professional hours. I have lived in this community for about 7 months and have to tell you that I have heard horror stories from other tenants about the students they used to have here. I am glad they are not allowing them anymore. I have had a nice time here, a couple of hiccups when the fire alarm would go off but nothing major. No huge parties or anything like that.
And who cares what the building was built for, it is now my home and I do not want it disrupted by a bunch of kids whose parents just cut them loose and are footing the bill. Let's be honest, as Mr. T says, most parents have not prepared

Do not live here! This place is awful I have lived here for 2 years and has gotten really bad. When you first move in it seems ok but after a while you notice it is not all that nice.
One of the major problems we had was with the air conditioner. When it got warm out we started using the air conditioner. Immediately after we turned it on my boyfriend and I started getting extremely sick. We told the office and said they would send someone up to change he filter. Hey. It looks great and all... until you move in.
Let me tell you about Essex! I usually am kept up 3-4AM multiple times per week because of the paper thin walls & loud neighbors. If it's a "thirsty Thursday" don't worry, you won't be sleeping. There is a maintenance guy with white hair - extremely rude. The carpets are stained, walls in corridors dirty and the entire building constantly smells like garbage. I have seen beer cans & liquor bottles laying around the hallways on multiple occasions. The elevators hardly work, they are constantly breaking down
