I lived in Xchange for 6 years and the whole time my experience was wonderful. Initially I lived in one bedroom apt and then in 2 bedroom and for me it was worth the extra rent.
There are so many pros of living in Xchange -
1) Community, which has been one of the best I have seen. Neighbors taking care of each other and having all sorts of events organized by community members.
2) Spacious apartments with free covered parking and 24/7 front desk and full-size laundry in every apartment. So, no need to worry who will collect your packages if you are not at home or going to laundromat.
3) Awesome

The building itself is nice but the leasing office is a joke. For almost two months i have been trying to get refunded the $600 they owe me. Our apartment was not ready on the day we moved in so our movers were forced to wait hours and we were told that of course this extra cost would be reimbursed. I have sent at least ten emails to xchange and middlesex management, made calls, left voicemails. Nothing. They just stole money from me apparently. Now i have to file a lawsuit to get my money back :( Too bad because the building itself and the other staff outside of the leasing office are wonderful

Really quite sad about how poor this management has been. 1-10 less than a 1!
They are friendly, although I’d rather have working appliances!
It takes many days to get any help here.
Everything has broken (that could possibly break)!
They literally drag their feet (on everything), and it’s actually worse than 1 star.
We have had the AC flood our apartment 2 times.
The microwave broke (2), dishwasher (3), washing machine (2), dryer (3), refrigerator (2), toilets backed up (4-5 times)!!!! Now the ice box.
It’s been 5 days. Still no help!! Not exaggerating. It’s quite disheartening

I would give 0 stars if I could! Super Rude management. Old, stinking apartment hallways. They don’t return your deposit in time but will be the first to charge you for everything possible. The leasing office don’t care about their residents. They will leave you hanging at their mercy. Please save yourself time, energy and the money you’re about to pour into this community which definitely won’t be worth it.

We went to see apartments here a couple of time and both times they showed us all options with patience. Farah was amazing and she answered all my questions patiently and gave all required information promptly! I saw other people praising her here in the reviews, and surely she deserves all the praise. Otherwise, apartments are spacious with modern equipments. Looking forward to see more floor plans in our next visit since they were not empty this time!

I wish I could give a 0 honestly. Great community, great price, great location, but the absolutely worst leasing office I've ever worked with (and I've worked with many). Nothing is digital - they have a paper list (and they won't even give you a copy) of all of the current units available. There is no waitlist. They are not responsive, via email or via phone. We secured a unit and were later told the current tenants might decide to stay. It took 2 days and a few follow-ups later to find out we needed to pick a new unit, with no sense of remorse or desire to help. The demand is very

If you are looking for a quiet place with free parking to live, Xchange is a great option. I moved out because there is a construction in the neighbourhood, this area is no longer as quiet as it was.
And, please be prepared you won't get a full refund for your security deposit. The leasing office will just make up reasons to take your deposit away. I spent a whole week to cleanup the room before checking-out, however around $600 was still taken away by them. The reason they made up was the existing tiny issues left by the former residents, you won't even notice that in the check-in inspection

As of August 2020, the Xchange started construction on a new building. Insanely loud pounding begins at 7am Monday through Friday and continues throughout the day, making it very difficult to work from home. I've written to management asking to begin construction later in the day and they responded to tell me to be patient and they appreciate my residency. If they truly appreciated my residency they wouldn't have began construction while so many people are working from home. It's disruptive and makes it very difficult to concentrate, not to mention impossible to sleep past 7am. If

Just moved in here and really like the apartment complex. The Property Manager (Luis Rebeiro) and his team always goes above and beyond to ensure that the tenants are happy and are served well. The cleaning staff does a fantastic job in keeping the complex neat and clean. The proximity to the Secaucus station is a big plus. Overall, an ideal place for a young family.

I am currently a resident in the 2000 building when I locked myself out. I thought this was going to be a major ordeal to get back in. Apartment was completely filled with mold when we moved our furniture. It has to have been there when moving in but they just painted over it. When I told them nothing was done about it. Absolutely filthy pretty on outside but very dirty inside (under paint, carpets, etc) very rude management let me add...not helpful !

Halfway through our lease but so far we are LOVING Xchange.
We almost feel like we're at an extended stay luxury hotel. The staff is always friendly, the amenities are INCREDIBLE (indoor pool, sauna, steam room, private theater, private grilling areas, FREE GOLF SIMULATOR, and more) there's a shuttle service to Secaucus Junction, just an overall wonderful place to live.

Hi I'm a cleaner,I bem in this place to do my job couple times, but yesterday at the build 9000 I have a frustrating experience at the main entrance lobby, the woman who was working in the front desk, who was suppose help me when I ask for for the apt 91...... didn't help at all, she been so rude saying ... may be over there, well wasn't, I came back to the lobby I say sorry i ask you for the apt 91 .....

Very disappointed. I received a couple of emails I eleven got to talk to a lady that assure me that even if I had SECTION 8 voucher ,that it will take me 2 months for me to get the apartment. First I got there ,they didn't let me see any of the apartments . Because they didn't have my kind of apartments.2 they said that they don have to do anything… with the section 8VOUCHER that I already have. Do anything they advertise and tall me in the phone was true. I'm a 54years old woman that is disabled and leave and race 3 young man on My own . And now im along looking for a better place to spend
