Hi, this message is for potential future customers that will go to this discriminating business! I walked into this place several times during the years 2012 to 2014 for a basic haircut! The sad thing is they always told me they are busy, and I even tried making an appointment! Workers at this shop seem to never have the time, and always rejected me! I do not mind paying top dollar for a haircut. I went to a place in Elmhurst IL in a much better atmosphere, plus payed up to 48 for a haircut, and 15 dollar tip! I was never turned away in Elmhurst! These people at UNSAVVY COIF DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER

I just got home from Savvy Coif, and my husband just won't stop commenting on how much he loves my hair. It got me thinking, why haven't I ever posted a review of the place? I've been seeing Yessy since 2006, and that speaks to how much I adore him.

I recently moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a new salon. I wanted to go dark (my hair was pink) and get a trim. My girlfriend was in from Los Angeles and we spent a few hours walking around the neighborhood and stopping into hair salons. After four salons that all quoted between $260-$400 without even sitting down with me or looking at my hair, we stopped into Salon Savvy Coif. Yesse is the owner and very talkative but he's been doing this for awhile and is extremely knowledgeable. We discussed what I wanted, all the options and he even offered to tell me what to do at home

I came on a Saturday night and as soon as I entered the music was blasting and everyone greeted me. It was like a party. She gave me the samples for colors and we began promptly. Prior to my appointment an hour before I got a call from the nail tech daughter to confirm my appointment. I got a no chip pedi and mani. The pedi chair was broken....so no massage. I was told it broke a few days ago and they were waiting on a technician. For the pedi mani I used a groupon and they do not provide lotion for your feet or hands. Weird it's winter and your skin can get dry. Typically the groupons are

Had my first appointment with the infamous Julie, and I can't express how wonderful the service was from start to finish, I had received color correction and cut. I absolutely loved the final blonde style. In addition to the shampoo service omg 10 minutes of pure massage and relaxation. I look forward to coming back again. Must try and worth it, not rushed and really enjoyed the experience thank you so much!!!!!!

Hands down the only place I will go for any beauty services. Yessy, all the stylists and employees make all us clients feel like family. No matter what service you get you always leave feeling confident in your new look. Yessy (the salon owner) cuts hair beautifully, but he acts as though his time is more important than everyone else's. He arrives when he's good and ready, and often leaves customers waiting while he chats on his smartphone. So, if your time is flexible, and you want a great haircut, Yessy might be the man for you. Otherwise, make an appointment with one of his employees, or go elsewhere. I ended up switching salons after he left me standing outside the business (which was not yet open) for half an hour one morning. (I don't think he's much of a morning person.)

I went here for the first time a week ago to dye my hair they charged me $95 which was fine all I needed was the roots cause I wanted the same hair color honey blonde I was there for 4 hours and they completely changed my hair color to an ashy blonde. And all I asked was to cut my split ends the total came out to be $145. They overcharged me way to much and horrible work by a tranny named Iran. Never going back. I don't recommend this place at all.

This Salon is wonderful I have been coming here for a long time and absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!!! My hairstylist Iran is wonderful, spectacular, professional, Savvy and always makes it fun. I look forward to coming every time. I have a newborn and had to bring her with and Iran was kind enough to help me entertain her. There is no other hairstylist that I would go to. The rest of the staff there is also wonderful. Thanks for everything Savvy Colf, couldn't be happier with you guys.

I came to this salon after having a traumatic experience at my former nail salon in September and I'm so delighted I have found a new beauty familia. I get my Mani/Pedi done every 2 weeks by the lovely, Mayra. She takes her time and pays close attention to detail, which is extremely important to me.
The rest of the staff are like mi familia. When I open the salon door to enter, I get such a warm welcome and it always feels like I'm visiting old friends. Love them!

Every person in the salon is friendly and makes you a part of the atmosphere. I did some research prior to coming in because I wanted to go the best in the area. I was in Chicago for the weekend and this was a destination I needed to hit. I knew I was in good hands.

I looked this place up on yelp because my regular salon was closed the day I needed to go. The reviews were true to their word, I had a great experience. The salon was decorated for the holidays, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Jesse, the owner, spent time with me to introduce me to himself and learn about his experience, background and all about the salon. My only potential negative comment was that the girl washing my hair seemed to be staring out the window during the process. Luckily there is no real cause for complaint because nothing bad resulted, but I would have preferred her attention

Yessy is a wonderful hair stylist ! And a sweetheart as a human being I've been going to his Salon for 5 years actually since he opened I was one of his first clients and the sad part I live a little far from him so I wish I could come sooner to the salon.
He does a awsome job straightening my hair that is a little curly
I hate to go somewhere else because I never get it right with him is always good!
So if you want a great stylis come to his Salon!!
