STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I made an appointment to see this dentist just for a check up, cleaning. I also asked about options for veneers for my front teeth. I didn't have broken, decayed, diseased teeth just yellowish discoloration. I was looking to do the two front teeth and he convinced me to do the six from teeth. I agreed to the veneers. They make you sign on laminated papers. What a mistake for me to sign those papers. Looks like a scam. I found Modern Age Dentistry in Ojai. Thru a flier. Iam so glad I did. DR Ali Saeghi is a real pro. I had a molar extraction and a root canal The procedure was under two hours and relatively painless. The entire team including Princess the Dental Dog were all so very kind. If you are looking for a Dentist you have found one at Modern Age Dentistry.

Over the years I've grown to dislike going to the dentist but Dr. Saeghi and the entire staff have actually gotten me to turn a corner. They really spend the time to explain procedures and techniques and walk me through what is actually going on. The tech is off the charts and they've really made me feel comfortable and even confident in my dental care.

I am usually not a fan of dental visits at all, but since I started going to Dr. Saeghi’s office I am much less apprehensive. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The office dog, Princess, is also there to provide comfort and I am always happy to give her some pets and words of thanks. Dr. Saeghi is an excellent dentist and perhaps the best giver of shots that I have had. Shots are one of my biggest fears so I am hugely grateful for that! I find the whole office calming and efficient. I have had calls to check on my status after procedures and feel they are all truly concerned

I've been coming here for the last year after avoiding the dentist for a while (whoops). The staff is lovely and Dr S is great. They weren't judgey about my hiatus, just professional and encouraging that i was getting on the right track. I also needed my wisdom teeth out and was super scared about it, but it went about as well as it could have. The procedure was quick and I was pretty much back to normal the next day, with only a little soreness the next few days. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Dr. Saeghi and all the staff at Modern Age Dentistry. The office is clean, nice, and state of the art, and the whole team was professional and kind. Dr. Saeghi eschewed costly procedures other dentists had quoted me as "necessary" and provided me with a less invasive (and less expensive) treatment plan that worked immediately.

Everyone who works in this office is so nice and genuine. Very friendly staff, including the dentist. What I like is that Dr. Saeghi is conservative about his dentistry-- he never pushes anything and even tells you when a procedure is unnecessary. Very no-nonsense and pragmatic while very kind. The office staff and hygienist and the person who did my impressions--all very nice, warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

I had appointment today for a standard cleaning. I didn't have time for other procedures and said I would set up a future appointment for an X-ray and the deep cleaning they recommended. No big deal, they were however being super pushy about the X-ray and deep cleaning and said I would have to sign a release of liability. Weird! Why would they need me to sign that if I said I would come back in for the other procedure? I'm sure my teeth would not have fallen out between now and a few weeks from now... anyway, they made it seem like I had to have the deep cleaning TODAY or something bad

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I am that person that used to cry and not sleep days before a dentist appointment. The last dentist I went to , the dental assistant had to hold my hand and calm me down. I have had so many bad experiences in the past. Dr Ali Saeghi, Alina, Leo and Princess have all changed that for me. Dr is amazing and has a great hand for numbing my mouth. Leo and Alina are so friendly and put me at ease.. and I can't say enough about their therapy doggy Princess, who i love to give rubs to! I am practically skipping to my appointments. Was looking for a dentist since my wisdom tooth was bugging me and luckily found this place right in my neighborhood. The staff are really welcoming and friendly and even have a therapy dog, Princess, who really helps put me at ease lol overall I really like this place, really close by, awesome staff and do great work! And I don't have dental insurance but they offered payment plans which really helps so thank you for that and for everything else! ^.^

I went to Modern Age Dentistry after avoiding the dentist for years. The thing I loved most about them is the environment and professionalism they had. Their therapy dog Princess is such a sweetheart and gives you that extra touch of comfort. Dr. Saeghi and his team are amazing! They try and get you in and out and do an amazing job. I received a flier (and coupon) in the mail for a free exam and a discounted cleaning. The office and staff seemed nice enough, but things started quickly feeling sketchy during the exam itself.
The dentist was trying to sell me on the need to get a "deep cleaning" service. Yes, I hadn't had a cleaning in a while (a year, nothing crazy) but I take pretty good care of my teeth/mouth so it was a little hard to believe my teeth were in as bad of shape as was being suggested.
I especially found it interesting that when the dentist was making her pitch, she tapped a couple of my teeth

-I didn't feel comfortable about getting more x-rays and was made to feel foolish for my concern by the manner in which the receptionist responded to me on the matter. They insisted on x-rays before I would be given a cleaning-which I never received because of the fact that they wanted me to get the gum surgery-I heard them pull the same attempt on my girlfriend who came in for a cleaning in the next room.

Dr.Saeghi and his staff are amazing. His very professional and explain everything so you know what his doing. I just had two root canals and tooth extraction, didn't feel a thing then and don't feel any pain in. I'm looking forward for more work done now at his office. I have to say I'm so confused by these other horrible reviews. We also came to Dr. Saeghi through his whitening promotion but we were looking for a new dentist and we understood why he was doing the promo as he was looking for new clients in the Atwater neighborhood. He was knowledgable, personable and straightforward. As me, my husband and daughter all had seen the dentist regularly, none of us had any horrible news from him...I had one filling, my daughter's teeth were perfect and my husband ended up with a deep cleaning which is something every dentist he has ever seen has prescribed

I went to Dr. Ali Saeghi (on Glendale Blvd.) for the first time on October 20, 2010, after not having been to the dentist for about two years. Dr. Saeghi did a full dental examination, and took full set of digital x-rays as well as color digital photos (novel!) He acted in very professional, amiable and attentive way; his staff was likewise very helpful and professional-seeming.
He identified 10 cavities, showing me a color picture of each on his monitor. He also recommended a gum treatment at extra expense. I didn't second guess his diagnosis because about a year before I had started drinking
