Been getting my hair cut from here since 2015 and I haven't changed my barber since then. I personally see Romel and he's a great guy. Always does a good job and super professional and chill. If I feel like talking he will chat with me the whole time but if I just want to sit and relax he just focuses and gets the job done.
Caldian Hair Salon, is the only salon I go to since 2012, Romel is my best barber and he is very professional and friendly, I cant imagine somebody else cutting my hair but Romel. The prices are very reasonable for such good quality, the salon is always clean and friendly environment. Differently recommend Romel and Caldian Har Salon.

Asked for a cleanup around my ears and neck. Mike took chunks out of my hair and let me walk out looking like a fool. Went to a real barber and got it fixed, came back to Mike and he claimed I could have combed over it, then claimed he didn't do it, then asked why I didn't come back for him to fix it. Why would I go back and let you mess up the rest of my hair? Didn't even offer a refund. Don't let Mike cut your hair, period.

I got another deal online as I love getting my hair done. I like exploring new salons. This place has been always on my radar. The place is crisp and clean. My service was for a blow dry and kerastase treatment. My stylist was Lara. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job and my hair was soft and healthy from the treatment. Friendly staff. I would definitely go back again!

I came here to get a simple trim/layered haircut as well as threading. The lady who did my hair was not the boss but someone younger and seemingly less experienced from what I can tell by all her coworkers asking how she was doing with me. Anyway, she washed my hair and I asked if it was extra and she said no. This should've already been a sign that money was a bit sensitive on my part. Then she proceeded to cut my hair. She then asked if I wanted it blow dried whereas I naturally said yes since it was wet. When she was done, my hair was curled and looked "going-out" ready. I was

Romel is the absolute best. I am a colorist in a very upscale salon in Chicago and I won't trust anyone other than Romel to give me consistently amazing results. While the salon itself needs a facelift, Romel is reason enough to over look the spaces shortcomings. You will not be sorry. 10 year client and I should have written this review years ago. My only complaint is the pricing. Romel's work is worth DOUBLE of what he currently charges. Perhaps a suggestion for the owner.

I just wanted a cleanup for my overgrown pixie cut and I got a good one from Caldian. But the woman who was doing it couldn't understand English so her husband translated everything to her, which was a tiring, time-taking process. Also, she wet my hair so much so that the water dripped onto my neck. But at 12$, I am not complaining.

Went from massive, long hair that had gotten just too much to a moderately short, clean cut done just so, exactly what I wanted according to my old photo I showed. Walk-in. Very patient, detailed, and deft job. Super positive and relaxing experience. Will definitely be going here from now on - for my beard as well.

For someone like myself who is picky about his hair, I am totally impressed with Caldian. Mike, Romel (I hope I spelled that right) and the others are fantastic. Not only do they pay attention to detail, but they are also very talented hair stylists. They all get a major "10" from me. You could walk in at any time when they're open and always get a fantastic haircut. Not only that, their prices can't be beat. I've paid twice as much at chain hair salons and have had my hair scalped by people who shouldn't even be allowed in there. I don't live in Caldian&apos
