I’ve been bringing Gustaf to Walnut Creek Veterinary for years. There are a few good vets in this area but this one is my favorite. Dr Jill is amazing and her other doctors and staff do a great job with making your pet feel comfortable and if they are sick, back to normal as quickly as possible.

I've had many dogs over my life. This office is the best I've ever had in 40 years. We've been going there for nearly 6 years now. Dr Jill and her staff are exemplary and caring. I've never felt like they were just trying to upsell me on services.

Since they switched to their automated answering system it is no longer possible to talk to anyone. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with them and have always been happy with treatment my dog received but recently I received an email requesting me to contact the doctor regarding a lab report. It seems like the system now is a text system where you can’t lock down a date or a time or anything else to actually have a conversation as requested by the treating physician. A totally frustrating place.

It's taken me over two years to write this review. My cat's name is Earl and I took him here due to a mouth allergic reaction called Eosinophilic Granuloma. The vet had suggested some changes to diet and a medication that was giving him diarrhea; and if that didn't work, a steroid. When I asked about the side effects of the steroid, I was told the worst thing was a a chance of becoming diabetic. I did not want this so I waited, until one day his mouth started bleeding from the condition. I decided to bit the bullet and give the steroid a chance. Big mistake, a few days later he woke me up breathing

Great staff - very friendly! New location is very nice, new, and clean. I've been taking my dog here for years and have no complaints. Veterinary care is always somewhat expensive but this place doesn't try to over sell you on procedures you don't really need. Highly recommend!
