Brookside don’t even try “sincerely apologizing” unless it’s actual repairs being made. The place is a dump. Here’s why: water seeps through windows/wall leaving water damage. Faucet spout sprays, kitchen area has a non working oven, the counter tops are peeling, ac units are very loud and drip everywhere. Heat is not sufficient. We have told maintenance and often times it’s “not an emergency” or matters are temporarily “fixed”. Parking is ridiculous at certain times, you’ll end up parking far and if near dumpsters you risk going over shattered glass. No lines in the lots

Brookside apartments suffered much damage due to the heavy rains from Hurricane Ida. The staff at the rental office has been great to work with. Despite the massive damage, when I came to the office they were super friendly and very helpful with my questions about getting the electricity, water and gas turned back on after the flooding. The maintenance guys have been on top of things too. Lots of damage to fix however.

Please do not live here or move her. They take your money every month and never want to fix anything. My bathroom tub and sink clogs up every 3 days. And I call them and they come spend 5 seconds there. And leave. 2 days later it’s back to being clogged up. They don’t come out put salt down when it’s snowing or ice. Mold coming out the ceiling and they still don’t come to fix it. During the storm the fire department told the complex on Thursday that the tenants needed to Vacate the apartment because of gas leak and carbon monoxide leak in it to the homes and they lied to the fire department

Its been more than 2 years since i was staying here, it used be okay once, but not anymore, only thing is rent which is less than avg you pay in NJ state, apart from that, area is convenient, everything nearby, rest is worse.. wish i could post the pictures but not here, neighbours are difficult loud noise, door bangs, no parking lanes, which one time I've paid 50$ fine when it was deep winter, flat tyre couple times because they never clean anything at all.. frequently you dont get hot water, heat, yet no updates, you go and check or complain leasing office, they behave weird, sometimes ok, sometimes

Sadly an awful experience residing here. From almost being gassed to death 2 nights before Christmas with a carbon monoxide leak to having a refrigerator break 4 times (and lost tons of perishables as a result) before I had to become irate for them to replace it... the list goes on. There is never any parking- have to carry bags into my house from blocks away, and had an exterminator come 5 times for ants. When I asked for a reimbursement for ant traps/spray they spoke to me like why didn’t I just have them have an exterminator come again? Hmmmm.... perhaps because I don’t need a lab exterminator

Pictures attached of how "well" Brookside Gardens management maintains the premises. I've lived here for almost two years and have submitted over 18 maintenance requests, mostly for my own unit. The tub clogs every other month (facilities manager says I should just expect that to happen because of how old the plumbing is), I've had heavy leaks that have taken days of constant calls/begging to fix, and the laundry rooms are absolutely disgusting. We got a couple inches of snow yesterday and it was over before 5pm. Today I walked out to my car and none of the walkways or the parking lot had been
