Finally Here Salon

Jesus did a great job with my hair and was incredibly friendly. Cash only but well priced (I paid $20 for a basic men’s haircut). I’ve wanted to go to a neighborhood salon in walking distance from my apartment and this is it.

I came here since I live in the neighborhood but also because Supercuts messed up my hair so bad. All I wanted was a long bob but that person made it lopsided! Came here and one of the stylists fixed it so nicely for me. I will come here from now on! The best!

Wonderful environment, peaceful atmosphere. Maryann the owner has done my hair several times for about 2 years now. I hv longer blonde-ish curly at times hair. Always a professional gorgeous job well done! No matter how difficult it is to color, cut my hair (I’m kinda picky), I take her advice because she’s that good! The salon is beautiful, clean and her employees are always very friendly. I truly believe establishments in our communities need our support! I only get my hair cut about once every 6 months, thanks to the pandemic, but when I do, it helps when the person cutting your hair listens to you and takes your direction. This place has always proven to be professional, friendly and engaging with its customers, They have a variety of staff who specialize in everything from a quick trim to dying and styling and even beard management. There is sometimes a wait, but that's because the service is consistent and reliable. Mid-week is probably best, Go when you can take some time. This salon is a gem! Only professionals work here, the ones who hear you and make all your wishes come true. I’m absolutely happy with the look a hairstylist Jesus created for me. He is a great hairdresser and a colorist. I wanted to do highlights and felt like it was a serious step since it was my first time ever. Jesus made me looking like a star, I can trust him 100%. Absolutely reasonable price and perfect quality! Five stars!

The salon itself is very minimalist and tidy, they clearly take good care of the property and take pride in their appearance. Chairs are comfortable and the atmosphere is inviting and friendly. I went in for a basic trim, told them not to touch my beard, Should have asked them to do my eyebrows but I forgot. If you want conversation they will talk with you, if you just want something straightforward and quick, The staff will get right to it. I just got my hair cut at this lovely salon. Miriam is basically a hair care angel and I'll certainly be visiting her regularly from now on. She made my head look great, obviously, but she also has such a calming vibe. It was a relaxing experience and just what I needed. I already made an appointment to see her again. I started going to Miriam at Finally Here Salon when I moved to the neighborhood about a year ago. Everyone is so friendly and I've NEVER been disappointed with my cuts. I'm also really impressed with the eyebrow service. I get compliments on both all the time. Who doesn't love a compliment! I've been to so many high priced "fancy" salons and an more impressed with the personal treatment and services here! If your having a bad day, or just want to feel a little better, make your appointment today!

They are super easy to find and get to and I was hopeful to support a local business. The guy that cut my hair worked pretty quick but put product in my hair that I don't care for, didn't even offer a mirror for me to check out the back, because if he had, I would have noticed he didn't blend it - at all.

Made an appointment for 10:30, place was supposed to be open at 10:00, but it wasn't when I showed up.
Waited until 10:40 and no one showed up.

I called later in the day because I may have forgotten when I was supposed to arrive.
All I got was "yeah.. sorry, I was running late".

I don't mind people running late and I don't mind cancellations, things come up.
I don't appreciate having no prior notice and having to wait in the cold when I could have been working from home, and getting no proactive phone call notifying me they messed up.

For years getting my son's haircut was a nightmare. Until we met Jesus. We have had four haircuts from him and now we have no problems. He is great with my son, goes really slow and doesn't the sudden movements my son makes.

This place is in Rogers Park and is easy to get to. I had a cut a week ago, which wasn't awesome. The guy cutting my hair didn't really look at the pics I had of what I wanted. Consequently I ended up with a cut that I wasn't thrilled with AND didn't meet minimum requirements I had for it. And they don't take cards.
The upside is that the guy worked very fast. If you're less fussy or are not doing something new, I'm sure this is a great place.

I tried Finally Here Salon because of the Yelp reviews. I went for a drastic haircut (so of course I went with a new stylist.. makes sense, right?)

I showed Jose a picture and... my cut doesn't look at all like the picture. BUT I love the cut. When I asked to make it look more like the picture, he explained that it would be really hard for me to style because my hair is very straight. I didn't push it because he's right. Then, he suggested that I keep the cut how it is and if I didn't like it after a few days, he'd cut it again with no charge - great service!

Great haircut and styling in a very short amount of time! It looked like she knew what she was doing - very practical for anyone living in the neighborhood whether you want just a trim or something more.

Seriously Rosy does excellent work. This is my second time at the salon and I couldn't be more thrilled. I was going for a dramatic change and boy did I get it! Rosy was quite the professional in both cut and color. The color didn't quite come out as I expected (due to the shortness of the cut) but it was an easy fix. I will definitely be coming back.

I finally found the perfect stylist. Jesus is amazing. He managed to give me the best haircut I've ever had, even though my directions were vague and o didn't really know what I wanted.
The location is amazing, right off the red line, and when I called to make an appointment, the phone was answered on the first ring. After my wash and cut, Jesus gave me his card and said I can make appointments though text with him! As a person who hates making phone calls, I LOVE that!
They also didn't try to sell me any products, which was a nice change from everywhere else.

I've been going to this salon for years and always receive the best sevice. My hair always looks magnificent after there done. I'm not sure about those other few bad reviews. I was a client that day and time and there was no disrespect except by the unhappy customer. I always come out feeling like a movie star

If I can give them zero star I would.i went to Jose today to cut my bangs he cut it wrong when I told him that's not the way I wanted and it's not like the pic he started arguing with me, the other girl and guy he works with got involved.as I was sitting down 3 of them got in my face yelling I left and called the cops and the cops refunded My money.The worst experience ever.

Friendly and perfect customer service, great look and feel to the place, and amazing haircuts. Seriously, it's been a week and I'm still getting compliments on my cut! Definitely one of the best I've had in a long time.

PS: My usual technique with stylists is to go in with only a few broad ideas (in this case, "I like bangs" and "I like the sides and the back very short" - I have a pixie cut). I then tell the stylist to do whatever they think will look best for me. Some stylists do this ok, some stylists do it so

First off, they play awesome music. 80's New Wave. New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Depeche Mode. Second, they are all really great at both cuts and colour. I got an amazing cut, a really great scalp massage when I had my hair shampooed, and I am shocked it was so inexpensive. This place is like Stein Mart, once you go, you get it.

I have been searching for a hairdresser that not only did a great job, but also was reasonably priced. I have finally found them! My hair looks amazing and I felt like I was the only customer they have. Awesome awesome awesome. I am referring everyone I know! Heads Up, they only take cash!

I am very picky about who I let cut my hair and since moving to Chicago, I've had to "audition" salons. Luckily, I found a great one on my second try. The people who work here are very friendly and they do a great job on my hair.

The bright decor and the upbeat music are pure icing on the cake for an already wonderful place. Highly recommended!

Clean, friendly, and to the point. The stylists work silently (which I enjoy) and efficiently. Detail oriented as well. The tall guy gives a great head massage while shampooing. I'll be going back soon for sure.
