We provide high quality care for your pet's health and wellness, and client education to allow you to be an integral part of your pet's care. After all, you are your pet's advocate for his or her well-being. We provide one-on-one answers for our clients questions on pet care, behavior, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, skin issues, dental care, and food choices for life-stages just to name a few.

Each pet receives individualized care; like people, no two are the same. We take our time during your visit to ensure all of your concerns and questions have been addressed. Our veterinarian, Douglas Blais VMD CVA CVH gives options for your pet's care. Sometimes Western medicine, of which most of us are accustomed to, has limitations that can be addressed by Eastern medicine, and vice versa.
Services
We are a full service veterinary hospital and clinic caring for small animals, exotics, and avian. We provide veterinary services for vaccines, dentals, skin issues, flea and tick control, micro chipping, surgery, etc. Also, for an alternative method of holistic care we offer Certified Veterinary Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Recipes.
Regular examinations are vital to your pet's health and longevity. We can detect illnesses early on, before they become life threatening and too expensive to treat. Our goal is to maintain your pet's quality of life for a long time. We recommend an annual checkup and semi-annual checkups. Our exams are very thorough and comprehensive.
When you're looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service for your pet. At Blais Veterinary Hospital & Clinic, we have an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. Once a year a check-up should be scheduled for your pet.
There are multiple vaccinations available to pets. We provide vaccines for cats, dogs, and ferrets. We can advise you on which vaccinations your pet should have and which ones are required. Some vaccines are 3 years and some are 1 year vaccinations. Vaccinations protect your pet from disease and many boarding facilities require certain vaccines for the pets visit.
Microchipping a pet is a safe and effective of ensuring your pet can be found nationally and internationally in the event he or she goes missing. A microchip is embedded under the skin between the shoulder blades of your pet. It will remain in place permanently. All veterinary hospitals and shelters are equipped with scanners that can read microchips.

Their hours listed on Google said they were open on Thursday around 2pm. I rushed there with an injured cat and no one was there. Please update hours on Google - It could save lives.

We've been clients for almost 10 years now with services ranging from acupuncture and surgeries to routine visits. Dr. Blais demonstrates extraordinary experience unlike any where else I've seen.

I will not be returning to this place. The staff does not wear masks unless you ask them to. The vet was very rude and condescending and really stressed my cat out. The price is ridiculous, for two cats to be seen with 3 medications prescribed was $280. I felt robbed and embarrassed when I left there.

I went in for a consultation for my dogs because we wanted a vets opinion on ear cropping. We've done a bit of research and asked around to see what pros and cons were. Our oldest has had ear infections and problems with them for a little while and that's what some people said would help. So we thought hey let's see if it's too late to get this guy some relief. For our smallest it was more of a cosmetic reason and maybe also a benefit to get hers done so no future issues with ear infections. So I get in there and they ask about my diet for the dogs and I tell them it's purina something. The vet

This place is very nice. The people working are kind and are willing to do anything to help. They also have fair prices :)) As I was leaving the vet ,, my cat had escaped from the carrier. The people working there helped me get him from under someones car. I am extremely grateful for their help. I would 100 % recommend this vet place !!

I called to make an appointment this morning at about 10~ish, and had an appointment at 12:30. I was pleasantly surprised, as my dog Patches and I were 'new patients'. Everyone was wonderful, professional, and Dr Blais gave Patches who is around 18 years old a very thorough but gentle exam, as we discovered, that she has back issues, and some dental issues that need to be addressed. He was very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions and concerns, and discussed treatment options. I never felt 'rushed', which was very nice and appreciated.
All in all, I was very happy with the care that my
