We only use the freshest of ingredients and high quality halal meats in our recipes. Imported directly from the homeland our spices are filled with the aromas of Nepal which will make anyone feel close to the land. The desire to bring home into the foreign land is what greatly motivates us to do what we do day in and day out.

I am so thankful to Nextdoor Neighborhood for publicly praising this new restaurant in Saratoga. I'm not sure I ever would have tried it without the robust recommendation from so many neighbors. What a fantastic addition to the Saratoga area. The menu is full of different options and accommodating for people with dietary restrictions.
Services
Himalayan cuisine is influenced culturally by Tibetan and closely related ethnic groups in the Himalaya and Trans-Himalaya. We started our journey with a food truck in 2017. After a year of constant move around and educating people, we were greatly delighted with the responses that we were getting.
Pan fried chicken cooked with our homemade hot souce, mixed with vegetables and imported Nepali spices. Pan fried noodles with seasonal vegetables and if non-veg - slowly grilled chicken breast. Steamed premium Basmati rice that is pan fried and mixed with seasonal veggies and imported Himalayan spices.

Stopped by for a quick meal! I liked the name of the restaurant wanted to give them a try, we had few small appetizers. Everything tasted great, staff was friendly as well, our baiter was Rawta if I’m not mistaking his name. He offered us tea as well just to try it out.

Really good momos with a good level of spice! Veggie momos and chicken momos were good. Gobi manchurian is a must get. Paneer chili was very crispy and fresh. Egg chow mein also tasted very fresh. Saw them cutting a lot of cauliflower in the front.

The food was absolutely wonderful. My one concern is that my boyfriend has a nut allergy and we were sure to specify that when placing an order for a dessert. It probably is already made with nuts (which is fine) but had we not double checked before trying it could have been serious. Aside from that we really enjoyed the meal. We will still be going back here and the service was great! :)

Excellent Tandoori Chicken momo, Chicken chow mien and Chicken lollipop which are my goto dishes. I loved their food truck earlier and now the restaurant is also serving delicious food. It is great place to satisfy indo-chinese fusion / nepalese food cravings. Must try!!

Thanks Manoj for the great food and hospitality to make us taste home away from home!

God I'm glad this place is surviving the pandemic! And man I wish they had a closer location to us...

Anyway, we always get the same thing (an order of each type of momo and the Gobi Manchurian) but finally branched out today and got something new, hence the updated review.

Today we tried the veggie pakora and it was not at all what I was expecting. Most places it's individual veggies, battered and fried. These were chopped/shredded veggies held together with batter and fried like a croquette. They were delicious! The seasoning was excellent, the veggies were cooked well, and the green

Today we went for lunch to dine on site (outdoors).

We asked for Ice water...no ice.

We asked for Iced Tea...no iced tea.

They have also stopped offering complimentary chai.

The dining room is open but looks like a storage room filled with tons of boxes.

The prices for their Indian entrees are much too high already. I can go to India Cash and Carry and get triple the amount for $10 so removing the complimentary chai was too much.

We came here on 5/3/21 around 11:30am and there were not a lot of people here. The parking was somewhat limited in the immediate area, but you could park further and walked over. I ordered the Chicken Skewers ($13.95) and a bottle of water. We sat outside and waited for a few minutes before our food came out. The food looked good to me and same with what everybody ordered. The Chicken Skewers tasted good and it was enough to make me full. I would recommend that if you wanted to try something here. I tried the chicken momo and it was not bad to me. Overall, this place had good food and I

The flavor of this momo was odd, I felt like there was more onions than chicken. I ordered the tandoori and the steamed chicken momo . The tandoori momo was also slightly burned. The momo sauce was also really small and not proportional to the momo order.
I love momo and my go to is the Everest momo food truck, was hoping this would be comparable but I was disappointed.

Even though their menu boasts of so many options, based on their name, their speciality and their cuisine - Nepali , we chose to try out the Momos! And we were not disappointed!
Plain momos were as good as the Chilli Chicken Momos!
Soft, smooth and savory - plain Momos we're tasty. All Momos come with 2 kinds of sauces which pair very well with the plain Momos,
However I would recommend trying out the Tandoori chicken or Chilli Chicken Momos and definitely the spicy version! Pretty unique and must try! Satisfied customer!

Decided to order a feast of chicken lollipop, tandoori chicken momos, chicken chowmein and gulab jamun from here. All items were outstanding. They mistakenly gave us tandoori chicken instead of tandoori chicken momos but the tandoori chicken was also really good so we didn't mind it too much.

Their gulab jamuns were fresh and unique too.

The next day we ordered their tandoori chicken momos to satisfy the craving from day before. Although they were still as good, it seems like the taste or texture is not similar to what it was about a month or two back. Would probably try again to confirm

Ordered food for catering. Everyone at the party loved the food and we're inquiring from where we got it.

Manoj, helped it placing the order and making it a smooth process. Totally recommend it.

What a little scam and fraudulent business. I was charged 4.50$ for a Mexican Coca-Cola and what I received instead is a mini bottle of coke? (see pictures).

Food was pretty bland and poor. Much better elsewhere.

It's shame they have to reduce themselves to being scammers.

This places has the best chicken momos, chicken lollypop and chicken fried rice. The momos are different and stand out from other momos places in and around Saratoga. Chicken lollypop hands down the best compared to the other options around and I can eat your chicken fried rice every weekend without complaining.

Been here 3 times now. I am Mexican and tell them the truth, I don't know much about your food, make me something that will feed 7 to 11 person's with 2 to 3 antres and 2 to 3 sides. Food has been different each time, could not tell you what we had, but it's been real good.

This was our first time trying momos, and we loved them! Momos are one of the most popular snack foods in Nepal, and it's easy to see why. They are basically Chinese dumplings filled with Indian spiced meat or veggies. That is a bit reductive, but it's the easiest way to explain it!

Momo grill is an awesome place to eat in San Jose. The meat is halal and all the food we tried was delicious! The service was friendly and cheerful as well!

Recommendations:

Momos! You can get them steamed, fried, or baked in the tandoor, and you can order them with chicken, lamb, or veggie.

The momo was great! The tandoor momo has nice crispy crust sections on covering the fluffy bun. The lamb momo I ordered seemed a bit undercooked, especially compared to the chicken momo that had a much firmer texture.

Tried the fried lamb momo and tandoor chicken momo (also fried). They're kind of liked fried xiao long baos. The lamb was pretty good and Iiked it more than the tandoor momo. The tandoor momo is an interesting and good try, but not really worth the price imo.
Mango lassi wasn't bad (was ok) but not something I'd get again.

Stumbled upon Momo Grill thanks to my felliw yelpers! Came here on a Sunday afternoon and had put our order in beforehand via phone. Food was ready in 15 minutes!

Very COVID safe - they have setup a table outside where they are taking orders. Everyone was also wearing masks.

We ordered the veggie and chicken momos with hot and medium sauces on the side. Both momos were so delicious, filled heartedly, and flavorful. Each order comes with 8 momos and both boxes were enough for the 3 of us. They are not playing around with those sauces! Each had LOTS of heat (in a good way), so be prepared!

Hm...debating between a 3 and 4 stars for this place.
We ordered tandoor momo, chicken skewers (rice bowl), and chow mein. The order came out to be ~$40. The portion looked small at first, but when we poured it from the paper box onto the plate, we realized that it was actually a looot. Still finished it all though.

Normally, I wouldn't be ordering chow mein at a restaurant, but the reviews made it sound like it was a must get + I've never had indo-chinese version of chow mein before so I thought I'd give it a try. I do not recommend lol. It was way too salty + tastes like regular

We got both chicken & lamb momos. Outstanding on both. Chicken Tikka Masala was perhaps the best I've ever had, thick, somewhat spicy (med) creamy tomato sauce and tender chicken. Lamb Korma had a subtler flavor w coconut, ginger & nuts; lamb was very tender. Takeout service was prompt, accurate and attentive - every dish was marked. Would give 6 stars if I could. Love this place.

So glad to have found this restaurant that serves amazing momos. We have been looking for a place that serves tandoori momos. Found this place via yelp and have already gotten food from here 2 times in past 3-4 weeks.

First time we ordered veg tandoori momos, chicken tikka masala. Tandoori momos were so delicious and so fresh that it is one of our favorite food item at this place. Momos came with the side of 2 sauces that added to the taste of Momos. Chicken tikka masala was equally delicious and gravy was rich and full of flavor.

Second time we got chicken biryani, veg chili momos, paneer

We were going to have friends come over for dinner over the weekend and we thought this would be the best time to try out the many offerings from the Momo Grill. So we ordered
1. Paneer Tikka Masala - not too bad and was made fresh so the taste was quite appealing
2. Chicken Korma - now this was a great dish. The Korma Curry was spiced exquisitely and the chicken was cooked well into the Korma.
3. Paneer Shashlik - this was a bit of a let down. I think the dish was prepared well and the paneer was fresh as hell, but this is to be eaten as it comes out of the tandoor, else it loses its mojo.
