Pet Friendly - we offer a limited number of pet friendly rooms; please notify the hotel if you will be traveling with a pet to secure a pet friendly room. Our Standard King Room provides a comfortable stay with access to all our hotel amenities. Obtain the best rate in this standard accommodation. This room has either an enclosed patio or balcony facing the outer perimeter towards the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Great hotel for the rate, excellent location. Rooms were clean, heater worked (it was chilly this week!) and front desk offered a $10 a day credit if I skipped housekeeping service (which I always do anyway) so we got a $50 food credit at the front (shelf stable foods, candy bars, drinks etc) or if we had booked direct, a $50 credit off the total rate which would’ve been awesome (I booked third party). Only complaint is just that guests were loud and in the halls, certainly not the hotel’s fault. Will definitely stay again when we visit next year!

I had to work in Santa Cruz last weekend November 13th.
All of the inexpensive motels in Santa Cruz were pretty pricey, $180 and up so when Expedia suggested Los Gatos Lodge at $105 and they had great reviews so we made the choice to stay here.
Glad we did as the room was clean and comfortable and for $35 we were able to bring our little dog who had a fenced-in patio so she could go outside without our worrying about her wandering off.
Breakfast was okay as it's a Jimmy Dean sausage egg sandwich or a burrito but with the fruit and yogurt and juice it was fine.

We came here for a little weekend getaway for my husbands birthday. We also brought our two dogs, and this hotel is dog friendly! The room was super comfortable and really cute. Nicely updated except the toilet seat was a little loose and there were some ants in the room but it wasn't terrible. We are pretty flexible lol. So maybe they can give us a discount next time? Because we really loved our stay

This review is for the hospitality of the hotel and the venue. We hosted an event at the lodge and encountered several negative issues. The hotel staff is unfriendly. The only friendly and professional member of the team is Cecilio, he was helpful, professional and proactive.
The linens were not steamed for our event and we're wrinkled plus they use short linens or rectangular ones for the round tables.
The kitchen was filthy and needs a deep cleaning, the maintenance person does not speak English and was rude saying "No! No!" and walking away from me.when I asked for a linen

This place carries the charm of Los Gatos in such a charming way. The staff is kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet. Great balconies and beautiful landscaping as well. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit home! I'm also very happy to see the sign looking good and the bougenvillias brightly blooming. This spot is a true gem.

This place is super Kitschy in that it is reminiscent of a bygone era.
It totally reminds me of the vacation resort in Dirty Dancing - a used-to-be vacation spot where families pulled up in wood panel station wagons. So for this nostalgia vibe alone, I totally dig it. As a hotel in 2021, you'll find clean - and somewhat updated rooms but not " modern" or tech-ish at all. Lots of different layouts/price points to choose from. Their best and priciest executive suite is pretty bomb. Ginormous with a beautiful jacuzzi for two... and we love it on a week day if we are lucky enough

The girl who checked us in was really helpful and nice. The location is really beautiful. Our room was clean and nicely stocked with extra towels and bathroom necessities. Would definitely come back! The manager upon checkout was also very friendly and asked if I wanted to grab any breakfast cereal to go for the road.

My daughter & I were visiting our former home town and planning to stay 3 nights. This place is low end and had some very sketchy loud and foul mouth guests. I had to call security twice on what sounded like a little girl being abused. A lot of screaming & threats coming from the room!
The first night there was a group of men smoking & drinking in the parking lot outside our room! No security!

We were impressed by the nice landscaping, the clean rooms, the pretty grounds to hang out in (even with the pool closed in the pandemic), the nice neighborhood for pretty walks. The shower was especially easy to get the right temperature right away, as well as being very clean, with plenty of towels. The bedding and pillows were good too. Great to have a mini-fridge & microwave since we were staying awhile.

I I have stayed at this lodge many times to relax to walk the trail when I'm in town. The worst nightmare was waking up in my tub while I was relaxing to find sewage surrounded around me that have gurgled through the drain please see my notes on Los Gatos bar and grill somehow they're not allowing me to put everything on here I end up being in the hospital for a week with a urinary infection three days later I contacted the manager Cielio and he just really ignored me and said I could not report a incident report I did go there after the hospital visit and he told me I had waited too

Old, dirty, horrible office staff. Ants in the food. Holes in the walls. 1 star is that there were no bedbugs. The main office speaks Spanish assuming you "the white girl" doesn't. This is California! Everyone knows Spanish!!!! So in short don't come here and I definitely don't recommend this hotel. Spend the extra cash and go elsewhere.
P.s. the gardening contractors were extremely nice so if you're a different hotel reading this hire Lolo he's fantastic and great with guests and kids. He made my baby girl smile and that speaks volumes!

Lots of memories!!! Great steak Nd potatoes for old school dinner and dessert. Live music is free and drinks are decent size and consistency and strength plus good service snd thr rooms are clean and sizable in s wooded area that overlooks the Santa Cruz Mountains! Years of this and still going well there!

This was booked for free by a company for their x-mas party. As I walked in, a lady said she found bed bugs in her room and to check mines. I searched high and low, found a few small ones on the box spring.
The bathroom was gross, shower all scratched and stained. The wallpaper and curtains had stains on them. They don't take care of this place at all. Needless to says I was out of there!
