Milio's Hair Studio, established in 1975, was originally the one stop shop for clothing, hair, tattoo's and piercings, and those who knew us will never forget rubbing elbows with some of Chicago's well-known and on the rise celebrities. Our first home was located on Halsted and Fullerton but after seven years our staff and clientele grew out of this location and in June of 1997 the 959 W Belmont home was born.
Though our digs have changed, our purpose has not. For over four decades Milio's has been proud to be at the forefront of Chicago fashion. Services
Everyone's time is valuable, and our We require 24/38 hours notice to all cancellations and rescheduling. We require all clients to provide a valid credit card as a service placeholder and a means to secure any late fees incurred. Please call us at least 24 hours prior to your haircut or 48 hours prior to your chemical, extension, dreadlock, and/or bridal service and we will happily reschedule your service.
This charge is applied if hot tools (flat iron/curling iron) are used to finish a blow dry and style. Specially formulated by your stylist to help protect your color, increase moisture, repair and add volume. This add on can be added to either facial service. It stimulated circulation beneath pores to remove ill cells at skin surface, and fights free radicals that prematurely age skin.
Bridal Services are one of the best things we do at Milio's! We LOVE celebrating marriage and we'd love to chat with you more about how we best serve our bridal parties. We believe that every bride should have the opportunity to kick back, relax and enjoy the getting-ready process with her closest friends and family members.

The staff was incredibly friendly and outgoing and my stylist (Mykil) did a phenomenal job on my hair! I love it so much! I have pretty long hair so it took a while to get it all done and he never made me feel rushed bc of how long it took. I will definitely be coming back here again!

My regular hairdresser left when Covid started and since I've been trying to find someone else but it's one bad haircut after the next. And I even try to schedule with more senior people so now I pay $70 for a bad haircut. Uneven bangs, careless cutting... I've had to go back to get my hair fixed because it was a disaster. People are right that staff is super friendly and they're being safe for Covid but as for the job they actually perform, it is mediocre at best. I'm not going back.

I got my first haircut in over two years here - so happy with the results! My stylist Jenna was so friendly and accommodating! The receptionist that booked my appointment, John Paul, was very helpful in finding a stylist that would work with curly hair and was also very friendly!

I've been going to Milio's for haircuts for 3-4 years now. I used to work in the area, but even now that I work elsewhere ib the city, the commute to Milio's is worth it. Always excellent service. Additionally, in these times, I would not go to get my hair cut if I didn't feel safe. But Milio's well-thought-out, careful, and rigorous Covid precautions are a reassurance. Despite all the adaptations, the atmosphere remains friendly and intimate, like a (functional) family. Finally, as a non-binary transperson, getting a haircut is often a hassle. Not at Milios! All

Alexis is amazing and I am so happy she's here at Milios. I've had partial keratins, my balayage, and all my haircuts from her and I always get stunning work. My hair is super long and a hassle, but she is so patient and meticulous that I always feel taken care of. My hair was definitely suffering these past few months, and Alexis knew EXACTLY how to get me right. Definitely go and sit in her chair, you and your hair can thank me later.

If you're looking for the perfect hair color and highlight, look no further! Rebecca is a true artist! She's meticulous, methodical and always takes the time to give me exactly what I want. Ever since my hairdresser moved I have been looking for a good place to get my hair cut. I have finally found a new place. I often have a hectic schedule and Milos has always been able to get me in with short notice. I have always had a different person but everyone I have had has been great. I can tell they know what they are doing.

We were going for brunch and randomly stopped by for an haircut at around 3:30. The receptionist said she can book at 4:00and asked us to come back at that time. We said okay and will walk around. We wont stick around waiting and will let her know if anything changes

I've been coming to Milio's for several years now - I'd highly recommend it. I've had a few different hair stylists and they've all been great. I'm been working with Amy for about 3 years now and I love my hair. She's helpful and flexible with figuring out what's best for me. The salon is very cute and clean - a comfortable environment while being very professional. They're always on time and on their game in terms of confirming appointments and reaching out the few times they've needed to reschedule. I was living in Ukrainian Village for 2 years

I've been to Milios a few times before yesterday and have always had a good experience. However, yesterday was the best visit yet!
I called in the afternoon and they were able to squeeze me in later in the day - super awesome and convenient for my schedule, which I really appreciated.
I was scheduled with Erin for the first time and WOW - she is amazing! I am not kidding when I say this was the best haircut I've ever received. I didn't really do anything major to my hair, only took a few inches off, but her level of service is absolutely exceptional and I highly recommend her

Kelly SLAYED my fresh new long bob cut! She had awesome suggestions, and was honest with what would work for me while being super professional and easy to talk to. Obsessed with my new look, absolutely will be going back to Kelly for upkeep.
