Village Veterinary Hospital
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a veterinarian. While still in grade school I volunteered at the Nature and Science Center in Bay Village, OH. I then worked for a multi-doctor small animal veterinary hospital during high school. I went to The Ohio State University for my undergraduate work and graduated with a degree in parasitology.

I received my veterinary degree from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, then was blessed to be selected by NC State University to join their advanced training internship program in small animal medicine and surgery. After working for several years as an associate veterinarian, I started Falconbridge Animal Hospital and later added our satellite clinic, Village Veterinary Hospital in Chatham County.

Our pets are very special to us, and we understand how you feel about yours! That's why we chose our mission statement to include the sentence, "Caring for your pets is not just our job, it is our passion!"
To show our appreciation for new clients that you refer to, we have a Referral Reward Program. There is no time limit, so start referring friends and ask them to tell us you sent them! If for any reason you do not want a particular gift, we can exchange it for one of equal or lesser value - just let us know how you want to be rewarded!.
We are a locally owned and operated small business, and we enjoy giving back to the community that we live in. Below is information about some of the causes that we feel passionate about and how we strive to support them. We have had several students from the Jordan High School Agriscience program intern with us here at Falconbridge Animal Hospital.
Even when we don't have any open positions, we are always on the look out for friendly, flexible, compassionate people to join our team. EVERYONE & EVERYTHING! All of the staff are angels sent from God to watch over our fur babies! Today I was told this by Emily after I was worried that I was asking too many questions—
“Your job is to take the best care of Dexter Brees-Fenway and our job is to reassure us that they are taking the BEST care of him when he is there! Don’t EVER worry about calling too much because that is what we are here for—-to help ease your fears, concerns!”
Thank ALL OF YOU for loving our baby like he was yours!!

My beloved Boston Terrier suddenly had significant vision loss last Wednesday. I called Falconbridge and they got us in within an hour and a half. The staff diagnosed his vision loss and told us options for testing and costs and thoughts and potential plans. We talked with the doctor a few times during the visit. They quickly did the labs and made… a doctor to doctor call to NC state Ophthalmology and had us in there within another hour with all the paperwork and labs in hand. The doctors there were amazing as well. They confirmed what FB had diagnosed and conferred with the only retinal

Village Vet (and associated Falconridge Veterinary Hospital) are the best veterinary experiences we have had. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable. But even more important, they don't push expensive treatments that benefit themselves when cheaper, and often better, alternatives exist. Our previous vet had our cat on an expensive prescription diet that the cat refused to eat and still ended up needing monthly intervention. Village Vet suggested a change that works out to a dollar per month and actually works.

We have been patrons of Falconbridge for well over 6years. Once moving to Village After the fire, the quality of service declined. We had a bad experience during a $300 office visit for an ear infection. Staff was not friendly to our very friendly pit bull! for the record, she was not aggressive, nor did she show signs of aggression during the entire visit!!!!!!! People can say have their own opinions on the breed, but if the very people who care for dogs are uneducated and ignorant to the needs of the breed, then it doesn’t surprise me why the stigma stays.
When I called to cancel my other

I’ve taken my cats to both their Chapel Hill and Durham locations and am always impressed with their professionalism and reasonability. They don’t push extra expenses and check with you every step of the way for treatment. Even my cat who hates the vet will act sweet for them! Highly recommend for quality, affordable pet care in RDU.

My dog was in critical condition and I went to see Dr. Reeves. Dr. Reeves told me I had to get her to a hospital after she did some blood tests because she was very ill. We did just that and rushed my my dog To NC State veterinary Hospital She was there for four days. Dr. Reeves acted very fast and very smart in determining what was wrong and Insisted we go to the hospital. Because of her fast thinking my dog is alive and thriving. She has taken care of our dog for four years and we cannot say enough about them. This practice is wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone with a pet if I could

Small. Easy to get to and find. I had to find a new veterinary clinic due to the fact I just moved here from CT. The does remind me of the other veterinary clinic I had. They refilled a prescription for my dog that I was out of way before my dog became a patient with them. They call you the next day to see how your pet is doing.

I wasn't happy with the price from my original vet so checked with these guys and their price was more reasonable for the surgery for Jake. The surgery went great and healing is going great also. Everyone from the Doctor to front desk staff has been awesome. They have gotten a new patient in Jake.

Our family has been with Dr. Reeves since 2002, at Falconbridge and Village Vet. She has been a kind, caring, nonjudgmental, professional throughout the lifetime of our pets. We value her skills and advice as she helps guide us through difficult healthcare decisions. She has never rushed discussion and will research, not bluff her way around… tough medical situations. Many of the staff have been with this practice as long as we have. All are kind and professional and try the best they can to help us humans care for our pets. The practice gives back to the community and brings awareness to

We have used the services of Falconbridge and Village Vet since 2006.
They have always been professional and kind with our pets and with us.
Recently we had to put our rescue dog of 11 plus years down. The staff and vets could not have been more compassionate and caring. We have recently adopted a new rescue and she has already made her introductions to the staff. We look forward to many years of working with Village Vet (and Falcon Bridge).

I have a vet office 4 miles from my house, but I drive 25 minutes to get to Village Vet. They are FANTASTIC. Caring, knowledgeable, available, flexible. I actually ENJOY going to the vet! I have 8 animals and they know all of them by name and their "stories." Rachael (office manager) makes it convenient, welcoming and an overall caring place.
