Joe is a fantastic personal trainer. He's always finding ways to help you meet your fitness goals. He's got no problem checking in on after and and holding you accountable to your goals, which is good because it's easy to fall off track. When I stuck with what he said to do, I saw results and when I didn't, well, I didn't. He knows his stuff. He's also constantly looking for ways to improve himself and his gym to better serve his clients. He's also a great friend too. Everyone is welcoming there, especially during group fitness sessions (like boot camp and abs and glutes). Highly recommended!

If I could give Straight Edge Fitness 10 Stars... I would! The Owners- Nikki and Joe are the best of the best. They not only are extremely knowledgable but make you feel like you are family. I personally train with Nikki and she is AMAZING! She truly cares about a persons whole self, from physical to mental. I have never felt so comfortable in a gym setting in my life! They go above and beyond for their clients and it shows. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, this is the gym for you!

I have not myself been a member, but my mother, who is now in her 60s, was a client of Joe’s (the owner of Straight Edge) for quite a while. She absolutely loved him and still does. She was in the best shape of her life, and she won a figure competition which was on her Bucket List! She couldn’t have done this without Joe. His expertise, professionalism, and heart are what makes him an incredible trainer, coach, business owner, and he’s a great friend to our family to this day.

There’s positive energy in Straight Edge Fitness, and Joe brings it to the gym every time. This gym is the perfect size and has all the equipment I’m looking for to meet my fitness goals. I also look forward to his boot camp and abs & glutes sessions every week and Joe takes the time to make videos of his clients in action. He is always upgrading his gym and also understands my limitations, which prevents injuries allowing me to get my workouts in.

So for starters, I am the type of person who doesn’t enjoy large groups of people or trainers who pretend to care for their clients. I have tried several other gyms in the past and can tell you without a doubt in my mind that Straight Edge Fitness is really one of the best gyms in VB. It is the first gym I’ve ever felt comfortable at. My trainer Nikki is great, she has been a total badass who actually listens and pays attention to where my limits are. I’ve been using this gym since October of 2020. My results in just a few short months have been nothing short of incredible. When I look in the mirror I see a completely different person. I’ve been training with Nikki at Straight Edge Fitness for about a month and a half and I can already feel results! I was surprised at how much more effective having a personal trainer is compared to trying to workout in my own. Her attitude is just what I need to accomplish my fitness goals.
