With over 20 years of personal training experience, I specialize in strength, core, and functional training. I also provide yoga/stretching, body sculpting, lifestyle & weight management, nutrition, and wellness coaching. Work out with your close group of friends or family members (3-4 people) to inspire each other in a circuit training environment.

I create nutrition plans based on your fitness needs and goals, and coach you on healthy lifestyle habits. This is a great opportunity for team bonding and relationship building with the people you work with. I have over 20 years of experience as a personal trainer. Before becoming a trainer, I placed Silver in the Ms. Philippines Body Building Competition in 2002. My focus is in functional & core training, lifestyle & weight management, muscle toning, body sculpting, strength conditioning as well as a holistic approach to nutrition and physical & mental wellness.

A couple thoughts on why you need personal training and why you should choose Ling:

1. It's different with a personal trainer

Training with Ling has been one of the most rewarding experiences and has truly changed the way I view fitness. This was my first time working with a personal trainer -- I was in such a rut both physically and mentally last winter, so I did some research, found Ling online and decided to reach out to her. And I'm so glad I did!

Working out with Ling over the past few years has has honestly changed my life. Ling was the first trainer or coach who taught me how to take care of my body and use it with proper form rather than just pushing hard to meet a weight or speed goal. I feel better, my posture is better, and I feel better about my body than I ever have. I started training with Ling in January 2020 at the gym. Once gyms closed we moved our sessions to Facetime using the equipment that I have at home. She keeps the workouts varied, and focuses on large and small muscles. She has pushed me to work hard, and correct my form. I learned this year that I had been doing lunges wrong, when done right, they don't hurt my knees.

My goals for working with her were building strength and no longer being in constant pain. Not only have I strengthened my back and core so that my back doesn't hurt, I am now in the best physical shape I have probably

Before Ling, workout videos on youtube were my main resource for exercise. I've since realized that having a personal trainer like her is 10x better - she immediately corrected my form. Whenever I do squats, pushups, and lunges, I feel the burn so much more because I'm doing them correctly. Ling has been an incredible trainer so far, and I'm so grateful for her.

I did buddy training sessions with my wife for 6 months with Ling and we were very impressed with Ling's professionalism and knowledge of her field. She pushed us hard to improve our core strength and cardio fitness. She focuses mainly on getting our form right instead of doing pointless reps. She mixes up the exercises so as to keep things fresh and engaging. The only reason we had to stop was because of the cost. If you can afford it, then I would definitely recommend her.

I have been working with Ling for about 6 months now and the training has been so beneficial for me so far.
I am a runner, and was(and still am) training consistently. However my workouts used to be mainly cardio. So I reached out to Ling because I wanted to incorporate strength training in my workouts.

I started training with Ling almost one year ago. I'm doing buddy training with my partner, which is an option Ling offers for folks who want to get fit with company! This option is extra fun, especially since my motivation to work out hard also comes from having a little competition. Even though my partner and I work out together, Ling still pays attention to the differences in strength level and capability. She adjusts workouts for each of us in ways that allow us to feel like we're doing the same movements. Ling is super flexible and will do her best to accommodate to your schedule

I trained with Ling a few years back and made good progress on my fitness journey. The only reason why I stopped was because of my budget.

Now I'm back again! Before I came back, Ling and I met to catch up and talk about my goals and schedule. She's very flexible with her schedule and does what she can to fit you in at a time that works.

I was a little nervous about starting sessions again because I know that I am not used to them and also know it is a lot of hard work.

Working with Ling has been such a positive experience for me! I did a total of three months with her and my body composition has definitely improved thanks to her workouts and guidance. I've needed to purchase new underwear! (TMI, sorry...).
Halfway through our sessions I was suddenly working with an injury, and she was great at accommodating the moves to ensure I could continue to get the most out of the sessions while allowing my body to heal and preventing further injury.
She does such a good job of instructing your body control and focusing on your muscles so they get the most benefit

I started my fitness journey not knowing where my body was and really insecure about whether or not I could perform physical exercises. Ling made me really comfortable and confident about performing motions that helped shape my body. When being trained by Ling, she acknowledges a healthy mind and body. She's able to gauge how much my body can handle yet at the same time, push me harder each workout session. I love using Ling's equipment! She has really fun and cool gadgets that aren't really available at local gyms.

I had a wonderful month training with Ling. I get a lot out of the one hour training. Forms are taken care, the type of movements are also fun and challenging different parts. I enjoy that Ling incorporated different props to help making the exercise always different.

I've been training with Ling since November 2018, and it's been fantastic. Every session is something new, fun and exciting - I always look forward to it. And Ling makes me feel confident when I work out alone, practicing the moves she's taught me. I recommend her to all my friends, I can see that her sessions are far more effective than other trainers at the same gym - she's not here to ask me about my week, and she prefers if I warm up before the session, which makes me feel like she's there to make my 1 hour count.
Can't wait to see how my body keeps changing!

Ling is a pure professional and super personable. Always leave a workout feeling like I've worked muscles I didn't know I had. She builds each session around what areas I'd like to build upon and recognizes which need further strengthening to achieve my goals. During each workout Ling is constantly on top of perfecting my posture and ensures that I'm doing each exercise correctly while maximizing time. I've been working out with Ling for the last couple weeks and have had a great experience thus far. Before PT, I had been exercising solo for a couple years but felt like I wasn't seeing the results I wanted. After only a couple sessions with Ling and learning how to improve my form, I can already see booty/leg gains. Highly recommend her!

Timeframe: I started training with Ling in 2006 at Bally Fitness and followed her to ClubOne soon after. Trained with Ling for 2 years before moving to the East Coast in 2008.

Approach: Ling does an outstanding job changing up the program to avoid boredom and stagnation. She is tough and will push you. If you just want someone to chat with (and put you on "machines"), Ling probably isn't the trainer for you. Ling is dedicated and there to work/challenge you! She also participates, which I appreciate.

Nutrition: Ling is also very knowledgeable about proper nutrition. Back in 2007

If you've never been coached by a pro, you're likely doing it wrong!

Ling provides excellent coaching focused on correct positioning and exercise form. And along the way she give you an intense workout. Bring lots of questions as Ling is a wealth of exercise and nutritional information.

Fitness by Ling is a great investment.

Ling is the best!

I spent over two weeks searching for a personal trainer, and Ling was the first person who came through for me despite my unusual circumstances. She's one of the least judgmental people you'll ever meet, which is a huge plus in this current climate where discrimination and artificiality are embraced. It is a breath of fresh air. Literally.

My allergies and sinuses have improved dramatically after working out with her for over a month now. No longer do I have days when I feel extremely congested and lethargic. My physical and mental health have improved as well
