Functional Performance Fitness
Our mission is to provide a fitness experience that inspires you to be authentic and creative with your workout for a functional and limitless fitness journey. We are a group personal training studio that utilizes a holistic approach to training. We aim to achieve our client's goals through nutrition, dietary support, functional training, and accountability.

Our philosophy and approach to training encompass these four pillars of fitness; giving each equal importance. This results in a successful training program for each individual.
Services
As I continue my journey in learning and staying up-to-date with the latest skills and knowledge in the world of fitness, I hope to proactively share this knowledge with each of my clients. My goal is to empower each individual with the knowledge, skills, dietary support, and guidance that they need for successful results.
Upon making your life changing decision, the member is scheduled to meet with a personal trainer to set up their fitness profile. At this time, we will go through goal assessment, postural assessment, and weight and body composition analysis in order to create a baseline and set realistic goals. Members CAN NOT outwork a bad diet.

Suspension training is a bodyweight exercise which develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. TRX is a portable performance training tool that uses gravity and the user's body weight to do a variation of over hundreds of different exercises. Having a strong core means more than having a visible six-pack.
Nutrition is 85% of your results when developing a training program that is why Functional Performance Fitness offers Nutrition Services by a certified nutrition specialist to clients to enhance and empower overall wellness. Eat out a lot or consume a lot of processed canned/boxed/frozen foods because you are unsure how or what to cook?.

I tell everyone about Functional Performance Fitness. The classes are challenging and well thought out. I always leave feeling stronger when I leave and Vinh has a way of motivating everyone to push themselves. It's a good combo of strength and cardio, too! 10/10

Best gym and high-intensity interval training I’ve ever been to. I started going to Functional Performance Fitness through ClassPass in 2018 and absolutely fell in love with the classes and instructors and am now full-time member going 3x a week.
Vinh and Drea are always so energetic, motivating, and knowledgeable. Every day is focused on a different body group and every week there are new exercises so you never get bored. There is always fun, upbeat music playing and Vinh and Drea are always so friendly and there to help you meet your body goals.

I joined this gym in September, realizing that I needed an extra push to get myself feeling healthy again. John and Vinh are great. They do a thorough explanation of the workout, modify the movements based on previous injuries, and pump you up the entire workout. I have lost 20lbs since joining by being committed to going to class at least 4 days a week. My healthy journey is slow and steady, but within weeks I felt so much better. The others who go are great and all egos are left at the door. Everyone is friendly and considerate, which makes the workout more tolerable when you have someone there

I have been working with John (owner of FPF) as my personal trainer for almost four years. In those four years, I have achieved a total body transformation. John is skilled and an excellent training professional. He motivates and inspires me to always try to achieve more. He sets the bar high, but you get results. This is definitely the place to be if you have fitness goals that you want to achieve.

I met John Rodriguez in May 2017 when I was searching for my next personal trainer. I started personal training when I was living in NYC in 2007 and ever since then I've been committed to one on one training as its been the best way for me to see real results and a noticeable change in my body. When I left my last gym in April of last year, I searched high and low for my next trainer. I've worked out with some fantastic trainers so I will admit I am very picky.
