My favorite place to work out in San Jose. Great atmosphere and awesome coaching!

The equipment here is also amazing. Truly a 'bang for your buck' gym.

The environment in the gym is friendly and welcoming, but can also serve as the right 'push' you need to get into great shape.

I joined about 1 month ago (beginner at crossfit), and it is the best gym/workout experience I've had. You get so much personal attention, and the workouts are intensive but adjusted to your personal level. Your form is always being corrected (so you don't hurt yourself and get the max outcome). All instructors are super nice yet encouraging and push you just the right amount! Highly recommend for all fitness levels. Literally see everyone from all levels at the gym.

Signed up for a 6:30am intro class and the instructor never showed. Seeing from the reviews this has also happened to others. Wasted my morning coming here and feel that they don't value the time of others.

Update- had a follow up email from the owner. Schedule hadn't been externally updated. I get it. Will give it another shot this week.

I tried to drop in to a scheduled 7am class and no one was there? Wish I had gone elsewhere because there was no time to get to another gym and my chance to workout today has passed.

Let me start by saying if you're looking for a new CrossFit gym, now is the perfect time to start as they're moving into a new building in the next couple weeks!

I come from an athletic background, but am a complete novice when it comes to CrossFit. I found this gym because it was close to where my wife and I were moving. I've tried CrossFit at 3 gyms before and the experience was horrible each and every time. The coaches were inattentive, the memberships managers only cared about filling their box, and the members were just very cliquey.

Even so, I was committed to giving it one

I've worked out in many different gyms and I'd have to say this is one of the best I've been to. The coaches are knowledgeable and friendly. The community is great as well, everyone's trying to help each other succeed and get fit. I'm very happy I decided to join and can't wait for the new place to open up!

After moving to the South Bay Area, I went "box shopping" to find a new crossfit box. On my first drop-in, the coach, members, and owner were all welcoming. They greeted me and even tried to get to know me; something that other boxes didn't really make the effort to do. Being introvert and shy, I tend to rely on others to bring out my social side. After a couple more drop-in's, I knew CFSV would end up being my new box.

Aside from the community aspect, I appreciate the programming, which is done by Chris Spealler. Everyday is different - some days being just lifts while other

Just finished a great workout at Crossfit Silicon Valley. I was super impressed with the great coaches and the friendly folks in the 5:30pm class. I don't live in the area, but I will definitely stop by and work out here again when I can. The space is large enough for pretty big classes. We were all able to spread out and get in double unders (or singles for those of us that are still working on the DUs), handstand pushups, pull ups, and sit ups. I was impressed that we were able to do have two separate workouts happening at the same time for those that wanted to stick with the WOD and those

What a great experience I had here! I was in town for a conference with my wife and wanted to be able to get an open wod in before I left. Everyone there was helpful, friendly and really pushed me hard. Even tho I didn't perform as well as I had hoped, I was happy to have chosen this box. Next time I am in the area I am going to drop in again. Thanks guys!

I usually go to Crossfit Silicon Valley. The owners are husband and wife and they are a super friendly couple. I have small right knee pain, so I have had to stop high intensity exercise. When my knee gets better I would like to go back again. When that happens, I will certainly be of good cheer!

For the amount of torture I go through at this box, I still don't know why I'm giving it a five star lol. But Judd and Michaela are just amazing coaches, and everyone at CFSV are just so helpful and awesome. I have only been here 3 months but it feels like I've been with them for years. Totally changed my understanding of what training for fitness means. They genuinely care about you and will help you get the best form and safest workout. I also hear that Andreas Olympic weightlifting class in awesome but I'm waiting to build some strength before giving that a shot ! Keep it

I can't say enough good things about CFSV, the owners Judd & Michaela, the members, and the classes. This place has completely changed the way I think about fitness and overall wellbeing.

You will be challenged, you will sweat, you will want to die some days, and yet - somehow - you will love it...and keep coming back.

CFSV is the best!

I've been with Crossfit SV for 5 years. The members of the establishment have become and are my second family.

Coach Judd and Michaela are not only great mentors and coaches but they are truly good people and good friends.

This culture is a totally body, mind, and goal-oriented program.

So if you want to be in the best shape of your life join this revolution.

For background, I've been working out for about four years now. It's been on and off, but over time, my on's have gotten more sustainable, stable and more intense - and my off's have gotten shorter and shorter. I typically keep a healthy diet and have pretty good discipline about what I eat. What's most important to me is that I get a lot stronger (and even heavier) without getting bigger.

The programming at CFSV helps with exactly that! The workouts are designed to steadily (not slowly) make you a lot stronger and the coaches help you constantly improve your form so

I came here 2 times total. The first time was my intro course. I thought it was okay.. nothing too crazy about the workouts because the trainer scaled my work-out. I felt like a baby. He made me feel completely out of place. I would have felt better if he let me do the same WOD (workout of the day) than the others, but on a smaller scale, but he made me do completely different exercises. The people I met there were very nice though, and at the end of the training i met the owner. She was okay and not pushy as well.

The second time, I was invited back by the owner to try it out again before committing
