Los Arboles is great! We thoroughly enjoyed our time living in this apartment complex. The management team there is helpful, prompt, and organized. Any fix request we made was completed within 24 hours. Our apartment looked out over the lovely pool area, and we often kept our porch doors and windows open to enjoy the breeze coming in from the ocean. But my absolute favorite part was that you cannot beat the location - walk in one direction, and you have old town Del Mar with it's shops, restaurants, beach - walk in another direction and you are at Torrey Pines - and drive up the hill just past

I lived here for several years and have nothing but positive things to say. You cannot find a better complex in this area and somehow they manage to be more affordable than the other complexes. Rent also includes internet and cable tv during my stay. Yet the going rent rate at Los Arboles is less than the other complexes and they give you more (pool, hot tub, gym, garage parking, washer and dryer in unit, internet, cable tv, online rent payment and work orders, other flexibilities such as roommates if you need one, and a friendly professional staff)

After more than 2 awesome years it's time to leave this amazing place. If you have the opportunity to live here even for a short time you should do it. Del Mar is beautiful and this apartment building is in such a nice quiet location. We had a great apartment and could sometimes see the sunsets. The staff are amazing, all of them. We moved because we have bought ourselves our own apartment otherwise we would still be living there. I 100% have just good vibes and memories of my stay. I feel so privileged to have spent a few years living here. Thanks Mike and team for making it so awesome.

I have lived in several different apartment complexes all over the US and this has been the best experience I have ever had. I love that it is a family owned complex, not one of the big corporate apartments -- and you can tell the difference the moment you move in. Courtney and Mike were a joy to work with! The apartments are wonderfully updated with high-end appliances (not the cheapest fridge/laundry/etc like some apartments use) and any maintenance requests are taken care of very quickly (all of mine were completed same day). Move in and move out went seamlessly and they don't nickel and dime

Location! Walking distance to Torrey State Pines Brach or Seagrove Park. Don't have to sit in traffic to enjoy this beautiful beach. Grounds are well maintained, management is hands on and willing to go above and beyond to help with tenant requests. The maintenance team is amazing and friendly. If I need work done, I have the upmost confidence leaving my apartment unattended. It's not corporately owned which makes a huge difference. I would highly recommend living at Los Arboles Del Mar.

I'm so glad we chose to live at Los Arboles! The location is not only amazing (great run/walk to Torrey Pines Natural Reserve, walks along the beach bluff..etc) but the staff was also incredible throughout our time there.
We had minimal maintenance issues, but anytime something came up, they were quick to respond and fix. Los Arboles was extremely accommodating to our questions and needs, and overall very personable.

I've lived at Los Arboles for nearly 3 years and have only good things to say.
The location is fantastic, in easy walking distance to outstanding beaches, and with easy access to I5 and bus 101. We're down the street from a nature reserve, with outstanding views of both the reserve and the ocean from the windows and nearby cliffs, in a sleepy, walkable neighborhood.
The management is fantastic. They are responsive to concerns, and treat you like neighbors more than clients. When issues come up, they get fixed, promptly, without complaint or stalling. Rents increase only minimally year-to-year

I've lived at Los Arboles for over a year now and have nothing but great things to say. Maintenance requests are very rare and when they do occur, the team takes care of it right away. Location can't be beat! Steps to both the beach, Torrey Pines hiking and easy access to the I-5 freeway make this a great place to call home.

My wife and I spent 4 years at Los Arboles and it was such a wonderful experience. We lived a block from the beach on the third story. We had a one bedroom with a den and partial ocean view. The management was always fantastic and we dealt initially mostly with Mike. He was always straightforward, very friendly and quick to fix anything we asked. There have been many significant changes and improvements over the last few years which has been great. Location Location Location! Del Mar is pretty quiet and falling to sleep hearing the waves is something I will miss. Walking, hiking the cliffs

Feel bad posting a review on top of Niko's excellent post. Ditto on everything he wrote! I signed a 3 month lease at Los Arboles and ended up staying over two years. Mike (the mgr) and Jessie (the maintenance mgr) were a pleasure to deal with. Read below someone complained about noise...compared to what? I found the place quiet relative to other apartments - like the one i am in now. In addition to beautiful grounds/trees/location - would also point out the amt of storage space (in the garage and apt cabinetry) included at Los Arboles was a big plus - kinda adds to the square footage

OMG one of the best places to live in SD right next to the beach and Torry pines state park. The building was always clean and safe. The landscape,pool and the jacuzzi were always maintained to perfection. The entire staff and the Manager Mike we always so polite and helpful. After living there for over a year It was clear Mike is one of the nicest and caring people my wife and I have ever had the chance to meet. He was always so nice to our service dog and everyone we witnessed him deal with. If you get the chance to live or visit this community you will agree how blessed we are to have people

These apartments are amazing! Only one block from the beach, we walked our pup down to the cliffs overlooking Del Mar beach EVERY DAY! Quiet community with an amazing courtyard featuring a pool, hot tub, and grilling area. Mike, the property manager, is a great guy who not only always took care of business promptly but was always ready to greet our pup with a treat!
We moved back to the east coast to be near family, but we miss it- we loved this place!!

Been here for 5 months now. These are definitely old apartments; the floorplans aren't modern or laid out super efficiently. But if you want to live within line-of-sight to the ocean, this place is as affordable as it gets. The manager is hands-down one of the nicest dudes I've met and has been extremely accommodating to us. Although the property is old, it's clean and decently kept up. The pool and hot tub are nice. We were seduced by the proximity to the ocean so we moved in. A few months later, we could not get out of there fast enough.
When we moved in, we found cockroaches! The manager (a very nice guy) tried to tell me they rode in with our moving truck. Right, but I found them on the wall in the hall of another floor....did they ride in on other moving trucks? So, gross gross gross right away.
Then, the bathrooms are so small you have to do the electric slide to get past another person to go to the shower.
The washer and dryer (placed in the bathroom) are hooked up to other

An older apartment complex located one block from the beach, this place must've really been nice in 20 years ago. They have a good range of different sized apartments, they have a BBQ area with gas piped in, a nice sized pool and jacuzzi, a sauna, and an aged work-out room. They also have a communal lounge room on the top floor where you can host a party or occasionally they have a building potluck. Mike, the manager, is great. He always looks out for you and any requests are filled really quick. For the location, you can't beat it....
