He worked on my bankruptcy case much longer then he probably should have. I'm forgetful and don't check my emails often. I'm sure I caused him some stress. He had to file my paperwork twice. And in the end I still made a few errors on it. Daniel, as the trooper he is, dodged each curve and kept moving my case along.

Daniel was great to work with on the purchase of our co-op apartment. He and his team were extremely responsive, and helped expertly guide us through the NYC co-op process, which was a bit foreign to us. He not only addressed our questions, but he was even proactive in working with all of the parties to adjust deadlines when the process took longer than originally anticipated. Daniel and his team, Monnett and Shannon, are top notch. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with them over the course of our eight month odyssey to owning a co-op in the East Village. I had a scheduled appt with Daniel and he never showed up! Then at least 1 hour after our scheduled appt his assistant comes out to tell me he not in the building and asks if I would like to reschedule. So I gave a time and date option that works well for me and she emails me back on his behalf to tell me it can only be phone consultation.
I find that completely unprofessional, especially because I came all the way to his office just for him to be a no show and then I don't even get an actual appointment in replace.

Daniel and his assistant Monnett were always available by email or phone to address our concerns as first-time buyers of an NYC co-op apartment. After reading other Yelp reviews I consulted this attorney to obtain a quote regarding a real estate purchase which had gone wrong with another attorney and to see if he would take up the case. After providing him with all the details of the case and receiving a quote from him (which to me seemed higher than it should have been) I told him I would return later in the day if I decided to retain him to represent me in the matter. As a first time home buyer Daniel was referred to me by my real estate broker and I was extrememly satisfied. I was really unfamliar with the process and Daniel explained everything in a clear and transparent manner. Daniel also found points in the contract that would benefit the seller and he was able to argue these points on my behalf. If it wasn't for him I most likely would have never picked up on them. I got myself into a real estate deal which is fraudulent to say the least. I fell into the trap of a group of people where the broker, seller, “my attorney” and “my lender” were working together to make a sizable profit on my expense. When I started asking questions, the broker threatened me that I may be sued for the seller’s damages if I were to walk away from the deal. It was a perfect plan for the fraud ring. I am an attorney, and I hired Daniel to do my real estate closing. It was an extremely difficult transaction, with extremely difficult people, and through it all, he not only kept me half sane (anything more than half sane was impossible), he made sure the deal got done and was there throughout. Before I found Daniel, I had gone to a large firm, and had a terrible experience (once they had my retainer, I could no longer reach my "lawyer" and was rerouted via 1-800 # to a call center out of state!!) I'm a broke artist living in Brooklyn so that first experience really set me back. I sought out a replacement and was immediately put to ease with Daniel.
