If I CAN GIVE THIS PLACE BELOW 1 STAR OR NO STAR I WOULD. THE PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND THE RECEPTIONIST HE SAID HIS NAME IS " DANIEL " IF IT'S TRUE THAT'S HIS REAL NAME HE WAS VERY RUDE AND HAS NO WAY OF COMMUNICATING. THE HALLWAY IS DIRTY THE ROOM IS SO DISGUSTING THE SHEETS IS DIRTY THE FLOOR AND THE BATHROOM IS DIRTY. WITH ALL THE BEEN SAID THEY STILL CHARGED US THE FULL AMOUNT AND BECAUSE WE COULDN'T STAND HOW DISGUSTING THIS PLACE IS WE HAD TO PAY FOR A DIFFERENT HOTEL TO STAY THE NIGHT.

The room is very dirty every where especially the carpet. It is dirty, smelly, sticky. I think the city should have some standards for hotel business.

Incredibly affordable option with friendly staff! Thanks to remodeling on lower floors, we got a corner room on the top floor, with plenty of windows to enjoy the view and feel the breeze. Plus, it is within walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf and transit options available there. Once the remodel is done, I'm sure it will be even better.

A dump to put it mildly. Rude staff member. Racist people from India of the lowest cast system ever know to the human genome. Place is falling apart, do not book here under any condition. Worst Hotel in San Francisco. The machine would not even process my card. My money institution assured myself and them at the same time. They were completely at fault for wasting 2 1/2 plus hours of time and 100 dollar uber from airport. Would not accommodate me at all. Do not be subjected this dunghill of a hotel under any circumstance.

It was an entire mess, the carpet was not washed in months or even years, the light barely stayed on. This was just the entrance and the halls, going inside the room you can see the bed being reuse for a time now

Is it a luxury hotel? No is it affordable and in a great location? Yes if you're expecting the Ritz Carlton this is not it but what do you expect when it's usually well under $100 in the prime part of the city in a safe neighborhood and there is a certain charm to the establishment despite the fact that it is a little bit under maintained... it seems to have slightly gone downhill in terms of maintenance and keeping the place looking good although they are doing renovations but still it's quite a bargain considering it's one of the most affluent neighborhoods in San Francisco

Partially Daniel made threats on me, because I was dating Kalpa, and not pay attention to Daniel.. I am pretty sure that day when I asked Jimmy to call a Lyft for me the next day, Kalpa could hear what Daniel wanted him to do, keeping on threatening me abt Sheriff's visit w/ the hearing thing Elon put in his brain.

This is happening @ Extra Space right now, John compulsively stops by when he wanted me to pay attention to him, not Richardo -

I kept having to stay away, because my boyfriends' managers R raging @ me..

DO NOT STAY HERE! Can’t leave a review without giving a star so forced to leave 1 star. The pictures on the website are outdated. The carpet throughout was dirty. There is a smell throughout the building. Mice running around and into the rooms unless you block the bottom of the door with towels. The bedsheets were stained. Changed rooms due to the dirty sheets, different room same issues. Our room was never cleaned during our stay nor did they bring us new towels. The elevator was out of service all four days. Called the front desk for over an hour, no answer. They did leave a sign on the desk

The price was nice on the weekday and parking was easy to find across the street from our hotel room where we could see our car the whole time from our windows..very close to the pier and shopping center with safeway. The roof was amazing at night time. Its well worth staying here just for that view of the city and the golden gate bridge all lite up. Beautiful. No A/c or heater but believe me when I say you will not need either. Room gets very cool quickly with windows open and gets warm quick with them shut...I'm always hot and my wife is always cold. And we were both happy. Slept great with all

Noisy, loud, dirty, outdated.... our king size room over the lobby had carpeting curling up off the floor, wallpaper peeling, the shower was either scalding hot or ice cold, and everything that went on outside the front door or in the lobby could be heard. We could hear talking from the rooms next to us, we heard their alarm clocks going off multiple times each morning. One night someone arrived at 2 AM and rang the doorbell incessantly for five minutes straight. If you want to get a good nights rest this is not the hotel for you.

This is my forty-third trip to the Marina
Inn. It used to be a gem. Now it's a dump. Filthy carpet. Horrible maid service- in fact today they didn't come at all. The bathroom mirror was streaked yesterday. The blinds are broken and haven't been dusted since the Reagan Administration. It hurts so much to do this but I can't take the decline anymore. If there is a way to contact me for specifics, please do.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. When we walked into our room it was so terribly hot and there was only a table fan to move air. The floor was disgusting and there were stains on the bed.

You aren't going to like this hotel.

No matter how many times you review the curated photos on the hotel booking website, just don't stay here.

Like most people I booked this hotel based on price and location. I stayed in room 310 and I was excited because I was staying over the entrance of the hotel facing the street. Construction woke me up each morning. My windows freely opened and I soon realized it is because this location has no air condition.

I wouldn't touch the carpet with my bare feet and oddly enough no washcloths are offered. If you are in your early twenties, with

Good location. Pillows had stains and the place is pretty run down. The front desk had a “back in 15” sign and we waited with other guests for 40min. Great price but you get what you pay for.

Good: Location is fantastic, staff are friendly enough, windows in the room can be opened for fresh air.
Bad: Bed is old, sheets were worn but ok to sleep on, wifi is slow.
The other reviews about the places age are true, but you’ve got to expect some dust and cracks here and there as it’s a 2 star hotel and still WAY better than a hostel IMO.
Shower and toilet work fine and there was a clean bed to sleep on. I had a good experience.

Spend a little more money and stay somewhere else. The carpets in the hallway are dirty, there was a water like substance on it, and the stairs and elevator seemed unsafe. The room was outdated and needs urgent modernization. The carpet was dirty, the blinds were broken, and there were holes in the walls. Most importantly, the mattress was lumpy and needs replacing. The springs apparently did not work because when I laid down, I sank. It was an extremely loud outside which makes sleeping hard. The TV did not work and there was no AC or fan in the room.

This breakfast was lackluster, I would not

This hotel is outdated and unsanitary. Don't book this hotel. The photos attached are pictures of the room upon check in. We were willing to stay the night after finding someone's underwear left behind in the mattress and a blood stain on the mattress. They also don't do any refunds, even in this circumstance.

This hotel definitely tops my "sketchiest places to stay" list.

First off, there is no designated parking for the inn, my girlfriend and I drove around for a good 30 minutes to an hour looking for parking. We finally found one about a mile and a half away and had to walk in the rain to the inn. For those staying here, theres a safeway down the street from the hotel where we parked everyday except tuesday and thursday due to street sweeping! I would park there because there was no time limit and then moved the car to a spot hopefully in front of the inn after 6pm!

If I could give this motel 0 stars I would. Did not sleep due to stains EVERYWHERE!!! My friend and I took turns sitting on the computer chair ( covered this as well with own jacket) ALL night to avoid touching the bed or any other surface. And only one channel; I am sure I am an animal expert by now. Do not enter.

DONT STAY HERE! It's that simple. You may get a comfortable room but it's NOT worth the gamble. Their elevator is so loud that most of the guests get jarred awake at all hours. It's door slams shut with a sound of someone dropping a cherry bomb down the shaft. Then it continues its journey with a grinding whirring growl like a garbage truck that is following you.
THIS CONTINUES ALL NIGHT LONG!
The rooms have no AC so you may be forced to leaving your window open which is a horrible mistake on Lombard street. The traffic outside your window will certainly have you wondering

This is a cute vintage hotel off Lombard and Octavia. Very cute yet older decor. The service was good, the rooms were clean, and it was a great price for the location.
The rooms were small w a universal heater for the hotel that turns on at 7pm so it was hot but the window opened to fresh air and there was a fan in the room.
The room had lots of storage with a tv and DVDs player, cable, and separate sink and a bathroom w shower and bath.
It was a perfect comfortable stay for 2 nights and I would stay again.
The room does come w a complimentary breakfast (crossiants, fruit, egg, etx), limited
