One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. The people here are so nice and welcoming. The hotel is flash from the past with black and white photography and the old Hollywood theme. Just beautiful ❤️ couldn't say enough about this place. I will definitely be returning soon. And the most amazing thing extremely dog friendly ☺️

Everything was very reasonable expect card charges. They reserved 5 times the amount they should have and that happened to me and two of my colleagues. Amount is still reserved after my stay (4 nights). Guy at the dront desk claimed it is a system issue. Will review again once situation is resolved.

The hotel staff literally stole my money. When I arrived, the receptionist told me that I had to leave $200 as a deposit in cash. When I checked out, the receptionist said that he didn’t have my money!! As I left SF that day, I contacted in 3 days the hotel manager Blanca via booking, email, phone, and WhatsApp. I was assured that money would come soon. 2 months after my trip passed. The manager ignores me, no cash back.

We stayed here for 3 nights around New Years and couldn’t have had a nicer time. I was nervous given the location, but we paid for valet parking which felt very safe, and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is full of personality, which made it really feel like a trip to San Francisco. I would be very happy to stay here again!

Stayed here for a concert at the Warfield. Mercedes at the front desk is amazing. She made us feel so at home from the start. I really hope the management knows how great she is. Our room was clean and fresh. The decor of the hotel was very old timey Hollywood theme. I have nothing bad to say about this place!! Thank you again!

Cute hotel in the Tenderloin. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfy. The Hotel staff was very friendly and polite. When we checked in we were greeted by Mercedes who was very nice and recommended a place to eat within walking distance. We arrived before check in and she was kind enough to hold our bag for us while we went to grab a bite. Overall the hotel was nice and perfect for our weekend stay.

Terrible hotel... NO A/C! They gave me a fan. Room was disgusting. DONT STAY HERE!!! I honestly felt like I was sleeping on the same pillows and sheets as the last guest who occupied the room. Elevator is sketchy! Literally took the stairs because the elevator feels like it's about to give out any minute. My hot water went out in my shower. Towels were dirty! The sink started leaking. Management is terrible! Bottom line is if you value your money, time, sanity and comfort, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! God bless!

Spectacular service, rooms, and location! The staff at the front desk are extremely welcoming and helpful with any requests or recommendations you may need during your stay. The hotel is situated on the edge of the tenderloin and Union square areas of San Francisco which allows for easy access to shopping, restaurants and transportation. They are also a pet friendly hotel and are happy to accommodate your furry friends. I could not be more pleased with my stay at this beautiful hotel.

Charming hotel. The front lobby and dining area was beautiful - apparently the cocktails here (Gibson restaurant I think it's called) are award-winning, but I didn't have a chance to try any of them. It was a little annoying when check-in took forever and when I got to my room it hadn't even been cleaned yet, sheets and stuff were all over the floor. So back downstairs I went... they moved me to a different floor. (I had gone to SF for a concert and was meeting friends there - they had arrived earlier but then apparently they were moved to the room next to my original one on the

BAIT AND SWITCH. Booked for job interview. Called multiple times each day leading up to arrival date to confirm my reservation. Was told by front desk that my reservation was good. Arrived at 9:30pm that day and was told there were no rooms available and they were relocating me to a best western next to the airport...where I just came in from. Total bait and switch.

Stood here for the first time. Prime location to Moscone center. First off, for $800+ a night there is NO A/C, the water pressure sucks bad, SO noisy you can't even sleep. Homeless all around the hotel and they are up partying all night. Rooms are pretty small and windows very thin. Staff is friendly but not really worth your buck... would not recommend staying here for this price. Shop around.

We stayed here during the Kinkade fires because of the evacuation. Last minute booking off Hotel Tonight. I cannot believe how terrible the room and hotel was in general. Arrived with no help from valet, didn't have a room key our entire stay (2 nights) because the machine was broken, piss in the toilet (would rather not post a pic) and no extra cot bed as requested prior to arrival. Urban fee of $85 is ridiculous especially because we were harassed the whole time by all types of characters hanging out on the street in front of the hotel. It seriously felt like zombie land. No room service

The single star is for the location, close to BART and shopping, but the hotel as a whole gets a negative result for cleanliness...the worst for the amount of money paid. There were too many signs of the previous occupants including crumbs on the nightstand and dresser, hair and a used contact on the bathroom floor, and makeup on the towels. Avoid the frustration, don't stay here!

We stayed at the Hotel Bijou on Saturday for one quick night. We booked through Groupon 10 minutes before we showed up to the hotel and they had our reservation and room ready as soon as we walked in the door.
The receptionists were so nice and had us in our room quick. The hotel is in an old remodeled building and had a kind of old 20's theme. With 24 hour free coffee and tea bar. All the other reviews are complaining of homeless people and loud city sounds.... yes, there's homeless people who are either mentally ill or on drugs.... it's San Francisco. That's just a part

The outside is questionable. It's within walking distance to shopping and restaraunts. There's a bar next door. But around the corner are bums and smells like urine. Inside, surprisingly is very nice. The lobby area is small. They have valet which is 51.30/night after taxes plus$25 resort fee. There's a parking garage right across the street, save your money. We were told valet closes at 10pm but we can bring the car to the valet lot (parking garage at hotel across the street) ourselves. We wanted to find out where the parking lot was so we asked again later on and were told valet

Cramped 'boutique' hotel located in the heart of one of the worst neighborhoods in S.F. Surrounded by homeless people, addicts, open drug usage, active defecators excreting feces and urine, constant sirens, etc. Windows NOT double-pane so you can hear the addicts fighting or screaming all day and throughout the night. People walking up to you like a zombie or for change. I heard some of the hotel staff have been subjected to violence. NO HOTEL SECURITY. Quality wise, it's a few notches above the surrounding rundown SROs right around the corner.

Located next to 3 major hotels which

What a great hotel to stay at! It doesn't look so great on the outside but man when we walked thru the door we were surprised! Beautiful bar inside! The rooms are tiny and we had no AC...but i guess I heard in SF most of their hotels don't come with AC..( bec you don't usually need it). As long as there is a bed and shower I'm good. We were only there for less than 8 hours so it was no big deal. We will be staying here next time we're in SF. FYI we all know parking sucks in SF... so there is a parking garage one block down that you can park for 24 hrs for 30 bucks!

I would like to give this hotel a better rating because the staff was very nice. However, it was torturous to stay here. There is no ac and so had to leave the window open on the crazy loud drug dealers down in the street screaming and throwing bottles all night. I should have known when I first got to the room and there were four sets of earplugs lined up on the night table. Pro tip: bring your own better ones if you stay here because the flimsy ones they provide don't help at all. The mattress was also pretty bad, so between the noise that went on all night every night and the bed, I got

I would stay here again. I mean yeah, it's hella old. So old even remodeling it still looks old. But my overall experience wasn't bad.

The elevator was really tiny, the floors creek, not the greatest view but who cares about that. A decent hotel with decent a decent room with a decent bed was really all I needed after an event, which was walking distance btw. I guess the only thing was checking in and checking out took forever.

The area is wasn't the greatest and usually hotels within areas that aren't nice tends to be really bad as well. This hotel wasn't bad. The

Let me start by saying the hostess had great customer service unfortunately the manager on the other hand has THE WORST customer service Blanca Rivera who is the manager was beyond rude, disrespectful, and dismissive myself and my aunt had complaints about the bed which were uncomfortable and left us with back pains, the towels were dirty looking, there was no ac which was not told to us before hand, the windows did not have screens so we could at least leave windows open through out the night without being attacked by bugs, and the elevator was out of code for almost a year Hotel is in ok area

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Stay far away! I'm actually considering to sue because of the following reasons:
1) The Beds are horrible. I woke up with severe back pain in the middle of my back. I'm 5 mos pregnant and when I approached the manager Blanca about it she said there is nothing she could do because I booked through a 3rd party vendor. She had a nasty attitude and proceeded to say "did I run your credit card, did you see me do that". Very rude and non accommodating. I would have been ok with a sincere apology.

2) There is no AC. I understand that's common for hotels in

Overall we were satisfied. We got a room with two double beds, the room was small and felt too packed also a bit old. Also the windows are single layer and we could hear the noise from the street. No free breakfast or any food, but they offer us some water. There is a bar for drinks and also has food I believe inside the hotel.

On the positive side, it's near the financial district and a short walk to the downtown, China town etc.

The room was clean and the stuff is friendly. You can also leave your bags with them, explore the city and pick them up a few hours later.

Nope Nope Nope. Nope the F out of this hotel. This hotel is right next to the PJs aka the projects. Now I'm all for low income housing, especially in a city like SF, But the screaming and general carrying on lasts all night. There is no air conditioning and the windows are thin. The commotion is very in your face when you arrive or leave or are in your room. There were paramedics attending to a homeless person right in from of the entrance. The entrance was on the side as this hotel was under extreme construction. The lobby was a hard hat only area. There is no parking here so expect

I booked this room on a spur of the moment thing, I didn't want to stay in Chinatown like we usually do.
Anyway, the bed is nice and firm and the shower is hot. The room is The Graduate themed and decent sized for the City.
Since we're on the third floor I can hear people outside yelling and cars honking. I'm from South Stockton so this reminds me of home. Lol. Seriously why do people whine about noise in the middle of a huge city??
Room is pretty clean and there are no weird smells or bugs and honestly the firm bed is really awesome.
Would definitely stay here again. Oh and
