Mostly everything in these comments was something i experienced. they have NO room service and that alone says a lot. the floors are super dirty but good thing we brought sandals. No towels, no soap, and a little bit of toilet paper left, i had to go to target to get all of that. Must invest in floors, bed linens and CHAIRS! good for a quick rest but hygiene must be prioritized.

I made a reservation through a website they set up and now they say they do not look at it anymore, so my reservation was not valid even when I had a reservation number. I had to look for another place to stay in a holiday. I guess it was for the best because the place looks really dirty and people is saying is not worthy. I agree, if you can make a reservation with time I highly recommend any other hotel for almost the same price and much more comfortable and clean.

The room was disgusting. The carpet was super dirty and looked like it was never vacuumed. There was stains all over the blankets and sheets. There also was multiple weird red smears on the walls and light switch. The bathroom wall was damaged, with a hole in it. The fire alarm had been ripped from the wall. The table and dresser were damaged. There was someone’s mustard left in the fridge which also was very dirty. Overall extremely dirty and I wish I read reviews before booking, instead of just looking at the price.

Wow I wish I would've read the reviews before I stayed at this nightmare. Walls were covered in black mold pillows were soaked with urine smh
Was my wifes birthday we decided to stay here based on the location and what booking reviews were saying and it is completely wrong what booking says about this place lol ugh
The best part was the free parking!!!!!! That was such a relief though to have the parking lot right outside your door

The most disgusting, filthy inn ever. Carpet is filthy, no toilet paper, no towels the bathroom fan is full of dust to the point it no longer vents the air out. Air conditioner has spilled food in it's grill. The phone does not work. The chair seat looks like road kill.
This place should be burnt down.DO Not Stay Here!

Very exhausted and a room check slipped our minds, we came in and hit the bed running from an exhausting vacation. Woke up at 4am…Bed bug infestation, it’s a no wonder the room was so cheap for the location, and they didn’t accept a deposit either. NOW I KNOW WHY! Left sickened, had to body check my husband and vise versa. Did a clothes check for bugs as well and kept worn clothes to a minimum to keep from bringing these to our vehicle, had to bag everything up, seal it, and put it in the trunk. Was a very cold and miserable experience. Have video proof of EVERYTHING! Even the day before

I had a bug in my room the moment my friend layed on the bed , told the guy at front desk , all he did was move us to another room.
We had some friends get ready at our place and we're met with nonstop knocking and calling to our room. Whenever I stepped out the room he would always be there. They were doing construction in a stairwell so I went around and the guy in the e lobby literally watched me the entire time and asked why I went around . So annoying and I did not feel safe staying here

The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. My room had a coffe pot, microwave, refrigerator, iron, heater/AC and basic cable. The outside parking lot looks a little dirty (for lack of a better term)and the bed was missing a bed spread (it had a blanket). I would stay here again and I would recommend it. Also, there was a $150 deposit required of me that I was not informed of when making the reservation. I paid it and had to cut back on my spending by that much. It was fully refunded. Very conveniently located.

Don't stay here. They have 2 stars for a reason. The only reason they get 2 stars is for the location. The don't have any washcloths at all. The toilet never flushed all the way. The AC is crap. It wouldn't stay on, took forever to get cool. Zero elevator to carry stuff to the 3rd level. The parking lot is a joke. WiFi never worked so be prepared to use data if you don't have unlimited on your phone. I'll never stay here again. My brother is going to Frisco with his family st the end of the year, you better believe he isn't staying here.

Run away... this was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. We went into the room and were immediately engulfed in a horrendous smell which was significantly worse in the bathroom. The sheets and bed were so dirty we requested clean sheets and didnt want to even use those. Now to the worst part, the cockroaches. One decided to join me in the shower and when we caught another with a can and asked management to kill it, they provided a can of raid for us to use for the night. (They seemed very aware this was a problem).

Just pulled in, has been checked in. Manager comes running out and tell us to remove every single piece of luggage that we have which equal to about 15 pieces between bags and boxes. On our way to Christmas for two weeks. Told us that people will break into our cars regardless of what we do. They will break into our cars.
Bye! Even though we're on a budget and we accept that it's a two star we don't expect a whole lot... But that was definitely NOT something we would ever expect from a manager!

We stay in the Marina area on Lombard quite often
When we are in San Francisco and by far this was the worst experience at a hotel for us in San Francisco !!!!!! The maids start early and wow do they run back and forth even when it's only 6am and have no awareness that they are walking on people that might be still sleeping on a Saturday morning !!!!!! They did a marathon for two hours on our heads - two !!!!!! it's soo upsetting and inconsiderate!!!!! And yet I'm supposed to leave them a tip in a nice provided envelope - what a joke . I tried calling the front office for one hour

Three stars based on great location in the Marina district great restaurants bars Starbucks IHOP all within walking distance! We also walked to the Palace of fine arts and Chrissy Field. And though we did not have a car, parking lot always seemed to have a space available when ever we came home. The beds were comfortable but the rooms are definitely old and run down. Again for the location and price three nights only cost $421 it is definitely worth it. Negative's being it was not extremely clean. Hair on the bathroom floor, vents were extremely dirty Cable did not work. This wasn't a

This is a good option to the older Union Square Hotels. Big room with comfy bed. Fridge and tiny microwave. Nice TV. Coffee in room. Free parking on-site. Free WiFi
The Motel is facing busy Lombard Street so expect traffic noises.
Walking distance to the thriving Marina Bar/Restaurant scene or a few blocks to Union Street shopping.
Easy place to catch the 22 Fillmore bus (Japantown, FIllmore street restaurants and shopping, jazz, blues) or 30 Stockton to NorthBeach.

When we arrived, the window wouldn't open, and the air conditioner and phones didn't work. They gave me a disgusting blanket that I could barely touch, and a lovely, fluffy blanket. We went to sleep with the "do not disturb" sign on the door and were woken up with a knock on the door anyway! I planned on leaving a terrible review.
The next day everything was fixed. I asked for a couple of extra blankets, hoping I would not be given another disgusting one, and I was given two, brand new, still in the wrapping, fluffy blankets. The reason the guy had knocked on our door

We needed a fairly inexpensive place to stay in San Francisco for 2 nights, and Travel Inn fit the bill. Location-wise, it's perfect for visiting the city and the parking lot is super convienent. Check in was a little touchy as it took 5 minutes for someone to show up and they couldnt find our reservation at first. The walls are fairly thin in the room, and there's no elevator if you have a 2nd or 3rd floor room. In all: this hotel is a place to sleep for the night, and fairly basic. The wifi is super spotty, and disconnects pretty often, so I would use data if you have the option

The rooms are a little expensive for the value, but the front desk is very nice and the location is very central to everything. Chestnut St. just a block away has a lot of restaurants and bars so staying here is quite convenient. Golden Gate Bridge is also just 4mi away, Lombard St. is just 1.3mi away, there's free first-come-first-serve parking onsite (if you arrive before 9pm, you should be fine), and free wifi. I have to say though, the front desk told me due to construction, the wifi signal doesn't route to all the rooms, which was very inconvenient. The wifi was quite intermittent
